We have put £2900 in savings this month. Our month is every 4 weeks. This is a big saving for us and it's the first month debt free (except mortgage). Our total for yr is £6000 and I'm not going to put that up as we will be holidaying abroad this year and my car is old.Let's be happy!!6

Hi!Can I join please? I'd like to set a target of £8000.I finally got debt free last year so this year I'm focusing in setting up an emergency fund, looking into a S&S LISA, and all those other things I've neglected for way too long.Thanks#13 Make 2023 in 2023 - £2085.20/£2023#23 Save £8k in 2023 - £6642.66/£80003

@slowlyfading Can you alter my savings target to £12000 SF? I have decided to include the monthly savings I make for holidays, car expenses, house expenses etc as I may not spend them in the current 12 month period.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. £710 is great @lantanna. Are you declaring early because of the date your payday falls? Ours is the end of the month so I will be declaring then.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Yes I get paid on the 20th of each month and I normally declare early if I’ve done my budget and have no further spending planned til payday. Im saving the rest of my deposit for house ready August/September so I need to be super focused.5
