No flying here either. Obviously it would have helped if I had actually remembered to turn the wm on, after having loaded it last night ready… wm running now…
I performed the mother of all WAC sentry duties last night. At 3.30am, I actually gave up and read my (rubbish) book for an hour, then back to bed to lie awake for another hour. I’ve refilled the biscuit jar - custard creams tonight and a few coconut rings in case Piggers passes through.GI - I hope your DS is ok x. When I had THAT call from DD (she hadn’t actually hit anything, but thought she had), I was a wreck, but trying to be calm for her.9 -
Now I've had a nap too.. lol.. we are all so full of energy today!OH bossed to do dinner today.. Pah - lost a post, mainly a pic of the Christmas tree. Mainly work today - wrote more of a report am then did another assessment pm.
- picked foliage for flower arrangements and managed to do 3 this eve which is one more than planned, so that is good.
- dropped in to Mr T on the way home from uni.
- phone call from SIL to discuss Cmas day menu.
- sorted out a load of post in the early hours, think I was an hour ahead of Fayolle.
- advertised 8 bags of hardcore left over from patio on local FB. 1 person interested but don't know when he is collecting.
- about to continue report writing.
- Mr N has customised and printed all cards for family detailing their charity 'present'.

PS Guess who had another torrid day at work yesterday 🙃IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme10 -
Morning all xx
Hope all the poorlies are on the mend ❤
Tears and tantrums at work yesterday- but not mine this time.
I did everything on my list except pay the rent. Nowhere to park outside the Post Office - I'll pay it tonight instead. Not a problem as I'm always a few weeks in front.
Paid stuff again today. Apparently we're to be allowed to work from home two days each week - not quite sure how that protects us from the lurgy, but whatever!!!
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
Bring in the bin tonight
Remember phone!!! I had to go back to the office last night as I'd left my phone on my desk. Shed head 😉
And breathe...
Have a good day my lovelies

Good morning. Well I'm now sitting down quietly with cat, computer and coffee after a rush around this morning. OH going away to a seminar (only 40 minutes away) so he had to be up a bit earlier and pack an overnight bag. Whilst we were having breakfast DD2 rings to complain she had to scrape her car (very unusual as she lives in the West, also known as the end of the earth, very near the sea). OH sets off, I shut the gate, come back in and spot his phone on the kitchen table. Big lose, you need a covid pass to get in the building where the seminar is and pass is on his phone. So I phone a colleague and ask her to tell him I can drop it off and send his pass by email, but don't want to leave until I know he isn't on his way back. So I rushed about getting ready, just when I expected him to call he came back in. So now I am having a quiet break. I'm off for the last of the Christmas shopping today but shops don't open for another hour.
Kitchen put to bed last night
Bed made, clothes picked up
Windows have been open
DW sorted
Banking checked and spending spreadsheet updated
Big hugs & spoons to you all. Keep SMILING
