Morning all [waves]
Loving the trees!
GWS Jazee, asb and Twinkle xxx
I'm pleased to say that the neuralgia painkillers that the GP prescribed for DH yesterday are working well, even on a low dose, so he has slept well and is in a better mood this morning
Today I have to
- throw another load of washing in the TD
- shop for essentials, including a winter quilt for DH and some red biros for me
- go to two banks
- knit 6 more snowman hats and 4 carrots, then sew up 2 pairs of mittens (2 hat shapes - front and back - required for each mitten)
- Rosie's walk
- start icing the 18th birthday cake
Will catch up later. Please help yourselves to spoons etc. (((Hugs))) all round x11 -
Iona that's good news. I had an allergic reaction to them when I was first diagnosed so it was a week before I felt any relief at all. I spent a few days looking like a puffer fish!
My left knee is incredibly painful this morning and to make matters worse I just bashed it on a box and grazed it.. so I may fling meds down the neck before starting on todays wrap-fest. This is the last lot on the landing then I have a mountain in my room.. but it may actualy be done this week.. YIPPEE!!!
The cars I had on pre-order for Jazzles have been despatched so that is another thing less to flap over.
I have 54 rows of knitting to pull back because of 1 stitch.. over 890 row someone else might not notice.. but I know it's there!! That should keep me busy for a couple of hours!
The off sprung are not happy.. they have been commanded to pick a room and tidy it next week, I'm not doing it all..
OH has cat trays to do today and I want the front room sorting.. We have got nothing done the last week with Twinkle being unwell and Squeaks learning etc..
Someone at his place of work tested +ve for the plague this morning so hopefully she spread it to everyone so the pub has to shut (unlikely but we can hope!)
Goodness me I need an influx of spoons!!

Spoons being flung in abundance in your direction, Piggers…
Card dropped off. That took 1/2 hour of chatting. Whoops.
Washing hung indoors (no td here ☹️)
Bathroom next, but I think that I might have said that before…whoops again…9 -
TY. fayolle..
I've drugged the pain and made a start on the wrapping.. school rang wanting Dot picked up.. apparently she coughed in the cupcake batter.. pmsl... She has the same as Twinkle and it is her own fault and now she will miss the christmas party.. she is such a muppet sometimes.
OH on his way home so he is collecting Dot.
2 parcels arrive for DD1 and I have 1 to post *FLING*
My parcel from Denmark has been despatched too. I think that is everything I am expecting.
I need to give my mother a bill so I can pay some stuff off.. she owes me about £450 in total..

GWS all those who are ill/ or feeling ill.OH was given the all clear from his procedure yesterday, so we are well chuffed and very gratefulHair is coloured and looks so much better.Cats sorted, cat 2 has the cat flap unlocked for him, he has been in and out all morning, he also met next door's cat who was wandering around my garden, so I put on coat and shoes and went out to supervise, they played nicely for about 10 mins, then cat 2 came racing in.Hoovered whole houseRubbish outAdmin type stuff doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Very pleased to hear about your OH's results, Kazw.Love the elf and tree photographs. Our star is up but I'm going to redo the lights later because I've decided they're not right. We spent so long getting the house shipshape for the panto lodger both of us are knackered but the house is looking great. For once I don't have worry about Flying and can concentrate on doing small jobs that need dealing with. Onwards and upwards.
Better is good enough.9 -
So pleased for you both, Kaz x
Bathrooms cleaned. I stuck a Out of Order sign on the door to flummox DH and it worked 😈. He trotted off nicely to the downstairs loo 🤣.
Dusted upstairs, including the top of the wardrobes 😇. Door handles thoroughly cleaned, inside and out.
Dining room windows cleaned, just because I was holding the white vinegar spray.
Shopping delivered and sorted. The couple of freezer bits have been decanted from boxes to to smaller bags so that they fitted in the space made free by the LO beef casserole which is out to defrost for tomorrow’s dinner. Freezer Tetris at its finest.
This afternoon’s jobs - paperwork, but not if I can avoid it by doing some present wrapping.10 -
This may be a bit naughty so if the powers that be need to remove it then that’s fine I understand, but I am sharing with friends..
if anyone could help save the life of my mothers fur baby it would be much appreciated, even just sharing is helping! She has lost 5 dogs (age reasons) in 2.5 years and Roland is the same age as Twinkle.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -

Kaz that's fantastic news on your OH. I bet you are so pleased.
Ok own up who has given me the lurgy 😷😷. I feel like I'm coming down with my usual Christmas ickiness. Throat hurts and I feel all stuffy as well as hot...ugh!! Going to stuff myself full of paracetamol to ward off anything that is oncoming.
But we did manage to take the packed up boxes to the storage unit, bought the dog and cat food and a couple of bits for lunches this week in Marks. Think that's it...lol
