Morning all

Wise words R.  Be kind to yourselves ladies, especially those with a lot going on over the next few days.  I cycled with my ladies group yesterday in the fog which was fun.  Last night I was meant to be meeting up with my SILs at the pub with some of their friends for drinks.  I didnt want to go, it's a small pub and I knew it would be really busy, then the arrangements for getting there and back were all a bit complicated.  I got anxious about it so in the end I made an excuse, then felt bad because I wished I had gone!!

I have a few last presents to wrap.  Yoga class this morning.  DS and GF are here so DSs laundry is over the airer in my office with the dehumidifier on.  Big grocery shop coming this morning so that will be to sort and put away, just hope I can get everything in the freezer!

Other than that not sure what the day brings.  Have a good Sunday all x

Well said Round.  Morning all.
 I've been up a couple of hours.  Still a bit blocked up and the cough won't go completely but I have done lots including a short walk with the dogs, made bed, put dry washing away, s&sd bathrooms, refilled soap dispenser, prepped food for dogs, tidied under sink cupboard and hoovered through.
Will report back again later.

I'm up but not washed or dressed, OH has gone back to bed.

All the  cats are having a mad 1/2 hour, which is lovely to see, they are now sat in a line looking out of the window 'bird watching' finally we might be getting there with cat 3, al least he is out from under the table, but still hissing, if we even talk to him.... time

Foggy here as well, wet and horrid looking,  stay safe all.

I have had a bath and cleaned the bathroom.

We are off to visit DS2 now. I don’t have much energy but am still negative. I have managed to order some more tests for home delivery.

wise words indeed, Round.

my Christmas is already changed.  Plan was Christmas lunch here then down to my sister's for fun and games...but all their households have at least one positive person, while she'll be out by then there may be others with it, possibly asymptomatic, so I'm not taking the risk.  

The vallikids and the aged ps will be here and we will play games and have fun.

Christmas menu is pretty much what it was last year.  I am sous chef, DD is chef.

Work tomorrow then I am off.

Christmas Eve 4.30pm come home, lock the door and breathe 😊

Made a start. Tick. Tick. + Brought down money envelopes ready to put cash into...and found a stash of labels. Note to self: no labels needed for Christmas 2022. Oh, must note that economy TV guide is a hit too. 

Also found 2 lovely bottle gift bags which will soon have bottles for DS (spiced rum) and GF (strawberry and lime gin) in them. 

Trying to decide whether to go to town for petrol and prescription now and get it out of the way, or wait until this afti when it should (presumably) be less hectic. Later methinks. HH Admin with coffee next then  then money cards, then gift wrapping. Sounds like a plan.

Morning everyone, have been up since 8am but was listening to Christmas stuff on the TV and chatting to a friend online so didn't get anything done..lol

Like everybody else, plans are changing by the day. We will now just be the 3 of us. I have cancelled going to DSis on Boxing Day, and DSiL has just cancelled coming to us in the in-between time. 
Wm x 1 done and hung up, veggie stew / soup thingy in the sc. I need to do a cursory dust, where the Christmas boxes have deposited their mess, then run the vacuum through to pick up the bits.
Gift wrapping still looms…

It's a bit higgledy piggledy, with some of tomorrow's tasks done today, but extra tasks being added. And a green tick is a green tick whatever day it is. 

Towels have had an extra spin and that's now finished so laundry shuffle again next.
