Nope , they can employ a sub contractor like dcb , but the alleged debt stays with the claimant parking company , they are forbidden under contract law to pass it on or sell it !  Their KADOE contract with the DVLA forbids it

Dcb or anyone else is a sub contractor , like employing a third party accountant or a cleaning company or a lift engineering company to service your lift , it's still your lift !!

There is no legal requirement compelling dcb to send you anything at all , they are working for the claimant and are under no obligation to divulge anything unless a court orders it

UKPC  have instructed DCBL so UKPC retain all the information
As Umkomaas  says ... "Highly unlikely that DCBL will have as comprehensive record"

And this is where it starts to fall apart for DCBL ?   Lack of knowledge can quickly turn into a disaster as it did recently with this case for DCBL

VCS Caught Issuing PCNs on Public Highway - Hit For £1,000 Counterclaim

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6308128/vcs-caught-issuing-pcns-on-public-highway-hit-for-1-000-counterclaim/p1

This complete car crash by DCBL costing their client, another parking company, £1000
Why they did not have a clue is beyond belief, a real legal would not put themselves in such a position to be spanked by court.

UKPC are know fraudsters as you can see here.
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35253759

You need to understand this ...
UKPC are members of the BPA (British parking association). The BPA has a code of practice which they update every couple of years, it's how parking companies should behave. No surprise that many parking companies take little notice.

Your ticket is dated 2017 and the code of practice at the time made NO reference to fake add-ons but that is what DCBL are doing to you. In your case they probably call it damages ?

If your ticket was in 2018, the BPA added a nasty little scam saying companies could add debt collection fees .. £60/£70 ?   This was due to dreamer who owns a debt collection company called ZPPS and as it happens, a board member of the BPA. It was done to increase profits.

So, for UKPC tickets in 2018, DCBL called the fake charge "debt collection"
Because in 2017 there was no mention or debt collection and least of all damages, DCBL in a nutshell are making this up as they go.  On car park signage in 2017 you will not see any mention of damages. UKPC signs then as they are now, unreadable rubbish

You do not owe the amount they claim, it contains a fake add-on scam.  The courts refer to this as double recovery which in turn is Abuse of process
The vasr majority of judges will not allow this, DCBL already know that so it's simply a try on.

The SAR to UKPC is vital to request pictures of the signs used at the car park in 2017.
Bear in mind the fraud you have read about UKPC was to do with timestamps
Whatever pictures they send you, you must be convinced and so must a judge that they were the actual pictures in 2017

The general advice is to contact your MP, there is enough evidence on this forum of the scam.
Your MP should contact DCBL for a full explanation of the fake add-on and to copy in Neil O’Brien MP who was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and is in charge of the New Parking Code of Practice

If DCBL fail to respond to your MP, he/she should then report them to the SRA and again to copy in Neil O’Brien MP

The SAR instructions in the NEWBIES thread specifically say not to send the request to the solicitor.

Of course they haven't got photos.  They have nothing. No details have been checked and no data or photos passed to DCBLegal. This is a roboclaim on behalf of UKPC.

Those are the figures for setting aside a CCJ , whereas you told us this was a small claims case issued a month ago !

Clearly they have sent you an incorrect email , it should have been the email auto receipt

Show us a Redacted copy of the email , so we can see it

We haven't seen your defence either , the deadline was next Monday

I've done everything wrong. I'm doing this myself as my daughter is busy. I sent the defence and missed loads off so I sent an amended copy which they have returned
I've spoken to the court and I only have to pay if I'm amending defence but I'm on benefits so don't have to. This whole process is making me ill. I'm tempted to pay and be done with it but I'll carry on. Thanks for your help.

Ok , I see , you tried to amend your Defence , hence those charges , it makes sense now , they will charge you to amend it !

I suggest that you rescue this at the witness statement plus exhibits stage , in several months time

If you can amend it due to being on benefits , at zero cost to you , then do so , but don't pay to do so

Come to us first before doing anything else , or get your daughter to assist you , don't go it alone

Show us what defence was put in (the one the court has accepted) so we know where you are at and what you can build on later.
