I have received a letter from County Court business centre on behalf og DCBL about a parking ticket from 2017. The amount is £317. I am a 72 year old recently widowed lady and thus is making me ill. Please help. What should I do. I don't want a ccj

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
But maybe I'm being a bit hasty in assuming you've received a Claim Form?
If not a Claim Form, what exactly have you received?1 -
Name the parking company Claimant
Post the issue date from the claim form below
Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements , reading the Fifth post first and then the second post next , followed by the first post in the defence template by coupon mad , again in announcements
Email a SAR to the DPO at the PPC parking company too1 -
It is a claim from the court dated 7th December. Parking company is UKPC. I'm totally confused1

I did ask you to read and study those specific posts 😁😁👍👍 we do not repeat them !2 -
maycowan said:It is a claim from the court dated 7th December. With a Claim Issue Date of 7th December, you have until Wednesday 29th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 10th January 2022 to file your Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.3 -
Thank you Keith P. 29th December is my 72nd birthday1

Would my daughter be able to accompany me to court and speak on my behalf as I'm 72 and not in the best of health. I don't think I could do it0
