It's done, medical admin is all up to date! I should be due a couple of refunds too in the next few weeks. That is a huge messy frog out of the way.
The admin tray is still quite full, but not at all as daunting now, a lot of it just needs filing.
A quick cup of tea then I'm going to prepare dinner for tonight.
The candidate OH was meant to interview this evening has just pushed it back to tomorrow so he should be home early to put up the Christmas decorations.
Have a good evening, it's already getting dark here.10 -

I have had a fairly productive day 😁
Paid stuff today - we walked to the f&v shop for some fruit. I bought some large oranges & some cloves, so tomorrow the children can practice their fine motor skills 👌 More glue sloshed about after snacktime, and I cleaned up while they were eating lunch. I also washed down some woodwork in the LR & Hall while I had some hot soapy water & a cloth in hand.
During nap time I had a phone call booked in with my support worker at the LA - that took an hour! The children napped for an amazing 2.5 hours, so I cleared some work emails & did some admin.
DH did a food shop. I finished clearing my emails & wrote out my flylady cards - they will need posting tomorrow. I will have to look up postage costs, or will 2 1st class stamps be okay??
Kitchen put to bed before I came upstairs - including cleaning the oven door!! 2 loads of washing done today as well. I hope I can keep up the momentum!!
Hugs to those that need them, and gws wishes to the poorlies. Night night all!9 -
Everyones tests came back negative but I swear this is one of the worst illnesses Twinkle has had. Her test was anything but accurate. She had an ice lolly and hot chocolate, coughed until she was sick then complained she was hungry and had one chicken dipper and a slice of cucumber.. she left the 1 chip lol. Temp of 39c is not shifting.
DD1 is delighted hers can be dumped back in school tomorrow, mine is having the whole week off and probably swimming on Saturday.
We have decided to pull Dot out of swimming after Christmas, the other 3 will still go but we may see about her doing an extra ballet class if she wants because she loves that, or maybe try tap though I'm not sure she could cope with the noise. School have been given a heads up that she may need additional support for the class swimming lessons after the Feb half term.
Sofa covers and huge unicorn and many pjs washed.
DW on many cycles.
TD done
Wet stuff hung up and dry stuff thrown in a heap on my bed.
Flycards will be sent on Friday.. I have a little thing I need forwarding.
OH has a bit of a list for tomorrow.. Evict Olaf from the fridge, Clean out Sarahs habitat, drop some stuff at my mothers, post a parcel.
I shall be knitting.. present sorting to drop at my mothers and procrstinating over wrapping.

Today:
Feed the birds ✅
Put out the recycling ✅
Put neighbour's post through their letterbox! ✅
Might as well deliver their Christmas card at the same time 😊 ✅
Paid stuff ✅
Tonight:
Put bins out ✅
Wrap Lo's birthday present
More paid stuff today - oooh yes, I didn't tell you. Yesterday at work I flew!!! I cleared and tidied every one of my drawers, all 5 of them. My bin was full. There's a pile of stuff for the stationery cupboard and I brought home a pile of shredding: personal rather than confidential. So my flylady halo 😇 is shined. Last week I was rushed off my feet, this week I'm tidying my drawers - alternate word for a party at a brewery comes to mind.
Living the dream. Marvellous.
Have a good day my lovelies

Hi ladies
Quick one from me as I am nipping next door for a cuppa. Two hens rescued from a local farm this morning have joined our flock; lovely girls with stunning combs. Farm just didn’t want them anymore :-(
Soup made, garage tidied out in readiness for a tip trip tomorrow. Lovely friend being given a tub of HM chilli in exchange. Love to all xx

Just in from my last day at work, seems a bit strange. I'm sure I'll get used to it! Just need to finish the reports and drop all the signed attendance sheets and paperwork into the office.
Bed made, clothes picked up
DW sorted
OH has been and got some lights for the Christmas tree so that can be decorated tonight if he's not too late.
The fire's on and tea's made so I'd better get on with reports.11 -
Are you now retired Mademoiselle? If you are - Congratulations! It's lovely.Your kittens are living the best life, Kaz. I thought I was too late for the Christmas Tree Kitten Book, but apparently not. 1. By 23.59 on Christmas Eve, and 2. More than once. Higgs is such a thug we couldn't possibly cope with a tree because it would be torn to shreds repeatedly, and Twiglet would be completely terrified. We now have a massive 6' star made with straightish windfall branches (so the gales are very welcome here right now, if not the rain) which I lash to the kitchen railings and dangle various bits of old tat on for them to play with, and cheap sets of lights laced around it. After Christmas it gets dismantled and returned to nature to rot down.I had a bad reaction, yet again, to my jab which resulted in two days of feeling very sorry for myself. I'm absolutely fine today so as I'm running out of time to make this place look welcoming (clean would be a good start, the rest would luxury and therefore just showing off) for the new lodger on Sunday. I've made a list of the critical things that need to be done and put timings against all of them to see whether part of my problem is that I grossly over- and under-estimate how long everything takes me which results in confusion and procrastination. I know there was something last week that I'd been putting off for weeks that took exactly four minutes. So today, volunteering and catching up on paperwork, tomorrow - Serious Flying.Better is good enough.9

Cor, I've had some rotten days at work before, but today was up there among them.
And to top it off, T told me that she's leaving. L left last week. They are the only two who knew the job apart from me.
It's like watching a ship sink - unfortunately I'm on the ship 😱.
I was in trouble for swearing this morning. What do I need to do to get suspended on full pay? 🤔
I've brought in the emptied bin and devoured/ inhaled 2 Belgian buns. So I'm feeling vaguely human again.
I've been MSE- last Christmas I wrote myself a note not to buy the Christmas editions of Radio and TV Times... a long standing me to me Christmas treat. I can't remember why I wrote it - but I listened to me and today I bought a double issue of an alternative TV guide...£1.50. 😊
Pizza for tea - but, for some reason 😉, I'm not hungry yet.
Enjoy your evening
