I've done it!!! All ticked off apart from the parcel and that's out of my hands.

And I've put the stamps on ready for posting tomorrow. 

Sorry if I've taken oven the thread today - but it's been extremely helpful watching that list get ticked off. I've been so productive that I even have kitchen work tops to s&s now. Fab-u-lous 😊

I’ve read back through the thread. Completely worn out by a whirlwind masquerading as Round, so I’m having to slump on the settee and do sweet “nothing”…ok, who am I kidding, that was my intention all along, even after Round reminded me that I was supposed to be writing my flylady cards this evening…

It’s been one of those days at the paid stuff. Not sure where my head has been for the past week, but it evidently hasn’t been sat behind my desk. Whoops. Tomorrow is a non working day, so I need to write a list for small town first thing, Mr M is booked to deliver at lunchtime, then I will turn my attention to flying. That’s the plan anyway.

Today’s flying has been limited to washing the towels, sorting out the airing cupboard and rustling up a dinner from the contents of the fridge. Not a lot really.

Round, you are doing really well. 
My day has been much the same as ever.
- filled bird feeders
- finished and emailed a report, about to do a tiny bit more of the next one just so I've started it.  Well done with yours Mademoiselle.
- Prepared paperwork for the 3 assessments I've got this week; tomorrow's is in my house as it is a private one.
- vacuumed all downstairs.
- moved furniture around to its 'winter' position i.e. sofa against the French doors as they won't be open anytime soon. Moved dining room table through 90degrees to make it easier for assessment, I have a little perspex screen to put between me and the student.
- made some veg soup for lunch
- put my wet suit, gloves and swim socks away as they'd been hanging up to dry in the shower.
- wrote a few c cards.

Morning all.  Hope you're all ok today.
 I have a rare day on my own until DH arrives back with MIL.  I am tempted to see if there's anywhere around that can fit me in for a haircut today before I start hacking it again myself.  Will report back later on any flying although I do need to mop floors and have a final tidy in the spare room.

I'm carrying my list for today forward - and looking forward to ticking it off tonight.

I've made my bed, had a shower, got dressed, packed my lunch, completed the LFT, eaten breakfast and I'm having a brew. 

My parcel arrived. Just need to buy something to make up presents for DB and my niece's husband and put cash in envelopes for DS & GF, and my youngest godson. And wrap everything  ...but not today.

Dreading work. We don't have enough staff to operate the new phone system. Apparently yesterday it was horrendous with just one on....erm, yes....that one was me on Friday morning and I do vaguely remember sticking my head round a door and saying 'This is impossible on my own.'  

Inhaling flylady calming vibes.  Gathering up every available spoon. All I can do is do my best. And breathe...

It's quiet here today.  Hope it's just that you're all busy flying or working.
Dailies are done and lots of food prep.  I phoned the hairdresser earlier and she'd just had a cancellation so I raced there and now look human again. Yay. 

Going to wash up, then will hopefully have time to mop the floors before DH gets back.

Hi ladies

I am here; been busy since 5.30am but as usual would struggle to list what I have actually done! I’m just holding my breath really and waiting for Barra to pass. After the trauma caused here by Arwen I can’t face any more upset.

The stove is lit and so far the snow is light. Let’s hope they both stay that way for the foreseeable.

Just stopping for a lunch break. So far today (and spoiler alert - it won’t be much):
hair washed and tamed (not sure that was best use of time as I then went outside…);
bedding changed and put through the wm;
drove to small town with a very focussed list and a 2 hour parking limit. Visited the Zero Packaging shop (interesting), bought DSis a C-present in a cs, a couple of January birthday cards in another cs, a few bits for DD’s C-box of toiletries and box of groceries (easy presents now that she is a poor student!). Might have visited the wool shop too 😳;
drove home the long way, as the road that had been open 1.5 hours before was now closed. Grrrrr;
took DD’s car for a spin before the wind got up too much;
remade the bed.

Now having a quick slice of toast whilst listening to the wind whistle, the rain lash down and the flower pots that weren’t properly secured bounce around the garden. Mr M is due in the next hour, and I don’t envy him getting the shopping out and up to the house.

This afternoon’s plan is to sort out the shopping, renew my car insurance, and mop the kitchen floor. Somebody (and there are only 2 of us here 🤔) has apparently had “a honey situation” over part of the floor. Then I hope to start the C card writing.
