Morning ladies

What a week; I won’t bore you with all the details but it’s been a crazy few days and it’s nice to be back. I haven’t had chance to read back so I’ll just send love to all.

Barra is making its way to us so I’ll be doing all the outside jobs today. I hope the snow doesn’t scupper the nativity. 

So far today I’ve put a dark wash on, toasted crumpets and now must let the chickens out. Though they won’t want to come out I’m sure as it’s so dark!

Morning all.
Just the vet ap on the calendar today.  There may be minimal council work too but other than that I will fly.  Arm not so sore today so I will do a dog walk before the rain comes.
Right, need to get dressed, change the bedding and do a quick hoover through before DH starts work and needs quiet.

This cold is doing a right number on Twinkle.. she is coughing up everything she eats and a lung.. I feel rubbish, OH is hacking everywhere so do not go to his place of work for dinner DD1 nd Lionel are poorly too. EVERYTHING sit heavy on DD's chest so it may be a couple of weekes before she is better unless it becomes pneumonia which she is ever so talented at.

I have a nail appointment today and Boog a hair appointment and OH work from 12.. Other than that I have a huuuuuuuge scarf to crack on with and I really need to start wrapping but with Twinkle and Squeak home that may be impossible..

Thank you for the lists.  

I'm up and made my bed. Brew 1 has been supped and savoured. 

Feeling a little overwhelmed by everything- it happens periodically as you know..  and the run up to Christmas is always a danger zone. I have all my plates spinning to some degree then the Christmas plate joins the mix and 😱. It doesn't help that the paid stuff plate started to spin in the opposite direction!!! 

The trouble with so much to do and don't know where to start is that I end up doing nothing. And that adds to the pressure. Throw snow into the mix, and finding out that Pops is having regular falls and near falls just as you put him and Babs on the bus to Norfolk and I don't know if it's brain freeze or brain fog... but it's definitely 😱.

And breathe....

Sorting stuff for cs can wait until my week off in January. 

Flying will be the basic basics basically.  Can I still call myself a flylady?

Sorry for the long post  - I  started and couldn't stop. I'm going to save my post to refer to and eat my elephant one bite at a time.

WM x 2 on the go, first lot out on whirly, I'll see how it goes as rain and high winds are on their way.

Litter trays etc done

Toast eaten

OH took a decision that we are going to put the decs on the tree, the cats now have some babbles of their own, but that hasn't stopped cats 1 & 2 climbing up the inside of the tree............

I've also opened the windows upstairs to let some fresh air in,  and sloshed bleach down the loo. 

Getting started is definitely the hard bit, I agree.

Blackbirds are feasting on the berries on my cotoneaster  - known by me as a 'cotton easter' as I'd only ever seen the word written down 🙄

I'm going to get 3 more ticks then I'll pop back.

Everything on original post done except vet appointment and just in time as it's raining now.  Also bedroom and living room dusted and second of three wash loads in machine.  Retrieved four half eaten dog chews from under the sofa, yuk.

That's 3 more ✅ and a ❌ - P&S dropped my shopping in but didn't stay for a coffee. 

I've also washed the sugar jar- once dry I'll decant the raggy bag of sugar into it. Baking trays are soaking and that just leaves glass jars for recycling plus a vase to wash.

I can feel those positive vibes zinging into my psyche, Jazee. Thank you 😊

I've added a slug of Baileys to my coffee- it should have been a splash, but my hand slipped.
