Morning all xx
Thank you for your support and kind words. They mean a lot to me. ❤
Weekennnndddd- finally. Hurrah. I'm shattered so planning to give myself some breathing space today. Thanks to Monday's ministrations this week (outside work!!) flowed well.
Work halted further progress - no spoons left by Thursday. Zombie Friday survived- so pizza delivery and The Abyss last night.
Meeting Lo for coffee this afternoon- so I must write a little to do list. But today is essentially a spoon gathering day.
Use the green tick Natty - it's very satisfying watching them multiply...or maybe I just need to get out more 😊
The cockwombles have suddenly realised that we would be safer working from home!!! Nearly 2 years down the line. No doubt they have a hidden agenda but 'shrugs' - I've 'volunteered' to work from home....not holding my breath but watch this space 👀
Round's Little List

I saw advertised that the F1 Grand Prix is being shown live on normal TV tomorrow, so I need to see if qualifying is live today. Bet it's on at 2pm.

Morning all
loads to do here...last night I just wanted to sit and warm up as I had been in a well-ventilated classroom all day. I need to put homework online too. Got bedding line dried yesterday so that was a bonus, DD is wfh so available to watch it. She is doing stuff in the house, too.
didnt take a pick but I sewed two disposable masks together to make an elf-sized hammock. Kids were delighted. (Glue didn't work stronger glue might have)
Any special requests for next week's thread? I'm pulling a double shift.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning justCat 2 has been outside with me for about 10 mins when he got frightened so OH opened the door to let him in, instead of cat using cat flap as we had agreed. They were all good at the vets, cat 3 has a marker against him, as he lashes out. They are all just scared by anything new, it will just take time.OH has changed the 'rules' over Christmas I had thought out presents this year were the cats, and a to be bought outdoor wildlife camera, however it seems I have £30 to spend on 2 presents for him and he will do like wise for me, I have no idea what so ever and TBH it is stressing me out. I'll have to get my thinking cap on.Kitchen is doneToys got out from under the unitsRubbish out, inc recycling, bin semi fullRe made wreath, it is a bit lop sided but the storm got it.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

DH is home.
No heart attack
No infection
No treatment
No food or water
Tea and toast have saved the day!
I have set the WM swirling and am going out as soon as I've read my LFT10 -
Iona, please take care of yourself xx
This morning got slightly diverted - DH and I dropped into our newly reopened village pub for a coffee to show our support. Very nice it was too, although DH couldn’t resist having brunch whilst we were there. Came home, stripped spare bed and put bedding in wm so the bed will be ready for any of DD’s friends who might stay over the Christmas break. QHI. S&s bathrooms. Vacuumed most of the house, and only the bits that I could get to without too much effort 😉. DH has put up the new blind at the landing window, and put the old one at the downstairs toilet window, where the blind had broken weeks ago.
DH is now angling for lunch. Honestly, he is just plain greedy.
Sausages for dinner this evening. DH was given the job yesterday to get a piece of brisket or suchlike that I could slow cook for dinner. He came home with 6 sausages…9 -
Thanks for your thoughts. Thinking of you too Ionafan, glad he doesn't appear to have something serious.
this morning I have:
- filled bird feeder
- done 2 flower arrangements
- packed bag to go to Mum's (after I've typed this, had a coffee and got changed)
- answered a few emails
- Mr N has read the meters, sorted out cards and done loads of other useful stuff.
- Rang a friend who has spent much of the night in A&E after nearly ripping her toenail off moving a sofa - she said you couldn't believe it could be done. Organised some flowers to be delivered, pity I can't do them myself but she's in London.
I'm sure my SIL won't mind you sharing her Christmas present, hugs for all:

Kaz I keep meaning to say I absolutely love hearing about the triplets and their antics. They put a smile on my face when you tell us what they have done.. My 'twins' are just as bad even at 6yrs, and mumma cat is no example even..lol
Only a couple more. Things ticked off, but the tea is all cooked and just sitting on keep warm now. I stupidly put the slow cooker on high, so I've put it on extra low for when we have it tonight.
I took in the Tesco's delivery earlier and it's all put away in proper homes now. Weirdly I did it quicker than DH normally does each week..lol
Have the newer Justice League film on in the background, but slowly working through the list. And I mean slowly..lolMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Narc0 - those flowers are stunning. You are so talented.
Christmas cards written and sorted onto piles.
Box of gibble sorted BEFORE it made it into DH’s office.
Celery soup now simmering away. I am trying to educate DH in the art of ys shopping at the coop when he goes to the butchers opposite. This week he came home with 2 heads of celery for 20p, hence the soup with one of them.
It is dark and raining here. Knitting time next.9
