It's a lovely feeling getting started on seed sowing, isn't it @CRANKY40? I've only sown chillies & penstemons so far this year, but have everything ready to go. I have a greenhouse but it's unheated, so I start things like tomatoes, aubergines, etc, off in a little electric propagator I bought from the sale shelf years ago for a reduced price due to the box being ripped. Seedlings then move from there to windowsills with home made bottle cloches then to our chilly conservatory before finally making it down to the greenhouse. Even then, I still have to fleece them on cold nights. It's worth it though when harvest time comes round. I love heading off down the garden with my basket every morning to see what's good for picking.
Re Sybil Fawlty - I have to be careful saying 'Ooh, I know...' on the phone when anyone's telling me something a bit juicy, lol.
