Well done on the debt total - you are really battering it into submission.

Hello all, update to debt is that it's now down to £3499.99. In other news I am also debt neutral but rather than sending my entire savings to pay off the debt I would rather wait as if something goes wrong I would rather have the cash to pay for it. The car and the boiler are both fairly ancient so they're on my radar.

I'm still working _ I have looked after person three days a week so for now I'm trying to pay my wages off what I still owe. I have been awarded PIP but in a rather bizarre turn of events I have been awarded it for daily living and not for mobility which is what I applied for, I have asked for a review - next wednesday I am going back to physio to be assessed for a wheeled walker with seat as I'm having trouble walking and standing. I fell head first into a flower bed in  my garden two weeks ago which has really hurt my legs too so the review will be an interesting conversation.

Due to the pain in my legs I have almost stopped cooking proper meals so with a view to dragging the HT and I back into healthy eating I have done a meal plan for the coming week.  I'm still helping best friend with the jungle garden but that's not so bad as he has bought some garden furniture and we stop for lots of rests. He currently has covid so I've been round today to water the tamed bits that we have planted up. It would be awful to lose plants after so much hard work (hard as in it's nearly killed us both).

I've been reading other diaries but haven't really felt like posting. One of my best friends from school killed herself the week after my birthday in May. I'd been helping her since her boyfriend died earlier this year but the other people that were helping her too have been lovely and supportive -  we've been looking after each other. I'll try to post a bit more often now that most things are sorted out.

Take care all of you 😊

I’m so sorry to read about your friend, how terribly sad 😢
Also sorry you are having mobility issues. Does that make your caring job even harder? I just cannot master meal planning! A vague idea is the best I can manage.
congratulations on being debt neutral, that’s a really fabulous achievement.

I#m not much good at meal planning either but I've done one that I think can be swapped from day to day if we don't fancy what we're supposed to be having,

Hi Cranky, so sorry about your friend and to hear of your mobility issues.  I hope your pain/legs start to improve, (I have CFS and some days the pain and lack of mobility drives me crazy) with the warm weather (lets hope) sunshine and healthy eating things will start to feel better. take care.

Sincere condolences for the loss of your friend..That must have been devastating.

Hope you get the Pip sorted out, hopefully you'll end up receiving more than you originally thought as they've already approved the daily living part, and by the sound of it should get the mobility.  Fingers crossed.  (((hugs))) XX
