I'm OK thanks. Still working, still paying off debt. The HT split up with his partner last week but his best friend split up with her boyfriend at the same time so they've been able to keep each other company.
My best friend and I are making inroads into his jungle garden. It's coming along nioely. We've even managed to plant some beans, peas and flowers.
I started a wardrobe clearout today. Two bags for the charity shop, a bag for my aunty to have a rummage through, a bag for the bin and a pile of things that need to be tried on. That will have to wait until later though as LAP is here just now.5 -

Hello all.
It's been a busy week here. The HT helped me deposit the spoils of half of a house tidy in the charity shop. We still have his wardrobe to do which I am expected will be the other half. I did take some things to the tip. I disposed of two plastic laundry baskets (they break when I drop them) and the old kitchen bins which weren't water tight so it was impossible to scrub the insides.
The HT and I went trainer shopping last week which was a bit eye watering but it was his reward for finally learning to tie shoe laces. His fingers are so bendy (severe hypermobility) that he finds it hard to do anything that needs dexterity but a couple of months ago I saw a method that I thought could work for him. He's practiced a bit and it works so he's very pleased with himself.
It was my birthday last week. I don't usually like a fuss because it makes me miserable. Due to the late MrCranky being rubbish with dates we were married on his birthday to give him one less thing to have to try and remember. Unfortunately that was the day after my birthday 🙄 I can only say that it seemed like a good idea at the time. This year the HT decided I wasn't going to be miserable because I was having a birthday week. We booked a theatre visit a long time ago to end that week and karma obviously decided that the HT's reward for making sure that my whole week was fun was to meet the winner of the first season of Drag Race UK who had also gone to see the same show. He was so excited. All activities were saved for and paid for as booked or as done. Yay us!
I have requested to take my pension early (civil service). I ran the figures through the calculator a while back and I will get more money by taking a smaller pension early than I would if I wait until state pension age if I live until 80. If I don't live that long then I've still had the benefit of the cash.
Back to normal this week and I've sorted and cleaned my room and the spare room (see above charity shop visit). I've spent three hours today cleaning the living room (proper big move all the furniture cleaning) while the HT was out at college. The cat was horrified and retreated to her spaceship in the kitchen while yelling that she wanted to go back to her home planet. I'm just contemplating cutting the grass while it's dry out there.
