  • Hi all

I'm pleased to say Highview have dropped the claim and are not taking this to court. It was due to be heard in court in January with attendance optional but they pulled out.

So a massive thank you to you all for your assistance.
This would come from DCBL so as Umkomaas has asked ....... was this a discontinuation letter
"Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant's N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.

The attached has also been filed with the Court"

Did the notification of their discontinuation come directly from Highview or via DCB Legal please?
    It came via DCB
    Great news!  Woohoo! You win!

    ANOTHER DISCONTINUANCE.

ANOTHER HIGHVIEW ONE BITES THE DUST!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation? I am concerned at your absence for months from this forum and guessing you have missed what happened with the Judicial Reviews that have held the Government yo ransom.

Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open later this year and at least into January.

If PPCs manage to turn around the decision on banning the gaslighting / claim-funding 'fees' then the DLUHC will be rubber-stamping £200 parking charges and if that happens, they (Government) and the PPCs will wreck high streets and people's lives.  Whoever is responsible, if that happens (and it very nearly did in 2021) must hang their heads in shame.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
