Please put me down for;
£320 for the month
I’ve already spent £70.27 - quite a high spend for us but I’ve done a little bulk buying of some more expensive items. This included;480 teabags, coffee, weetabix minis, donuts, bananas, Emmental Slices, bottle of rose, crisps, 4x chocolate bars, white terrys choc orange, mini rolls, tortellini, chorizo, chocolate soya milk, percorino cheese, tortilla chips, pork shoulder joint, brioche buns, smoked paprika, bottle of cider, mozzarella, red onion, oranges, terrys chocolate orange, vanilla yoghurt, yoghurt drinks, peppers, asparagus, meat free sausages, tomato and marscapone sauce, bacon, 4x pasta bake sauce and biscuits for the dog.
seems like a lot - we don’t have a big shop every week though and one of the biggest costs was the teabags £9.50 but this is fine as means we won’t need to buy any for about 2 months (at a best guess).
Menu for the week:
Breakfasts: Baked Oats, Cereal, omelette (using up leftover eggs)
evening meals:
- Mash-up
- Pulled Pork on Brioche
- Pulled Pork Chilli
- Pesto Pasta
- Pasta Bake
- BBQ pizzas
we use up leftovers for lunch throughout the week too.3 -

Thank you to both @Dizzy_Ditzy & @elsiepac - I hope you're properly better now, and we haven't made you rush back into service - for our shiny new thread, and I will earnestly try for
£550
again this month, please, to feed, clean & polish up 5 adults with (at least) 2 different diets going on, plus family & friends most weekends. Christmas supplies do come out of a different budget, as do presents etc., which is saved for throughout the year.Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)3
