I've hit the ground running into December's budget with £60.26 spent, between the supermarket & the butchers for supplies for the next week. There'll be more tomorrow at the market; fresh fruit & veg, cheese & fish, and I must remember to add another £3.92 as DD2 & I spotted a fabulous bargain at the wholesalers whilst picking up some business supplies; whole trays of long-dated tins of chickpeas and kidney beans for 98p! 98p for 12 tins, bb4 date 2024! We could only pick up 2 of each, as there's not much storage space left, but given that the DDs are pescatarian, these are essentials. I have to go very close to there on Saturday again; might pop in & see whether there are any left & store them under the bed if necessary! That'd keep 'em in protein all winter!Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)5

Today’s spend was £35.20 for a large amount of local organic veg, fruit, some cheese and eggs. Decided cheese from there is a bit extravagant, so will get it elsewhere next time.£35.20 / £6002025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Joining in again for December please.
I was going to just set the same as previous months, but I've properly thought through additional costs at Christmas/New Year so I'm going to go for
£450 for December

Good to hear you are better @elsiepac.
Sorry I'm late our Internet went down on our Narrowboat when she was poorly.
Can you put me down for £225 this month please. I've spent £14.01 today on milk, biscuits, juices and some nibbles for hubby when he's at the back on the Tiller. We still have mince, sausages and Bacon. Plus chicken in breadcrumbs. Plenty of cheese. Salad stuff, rice, potatoes, jars of sauce and tinned foods. We are with friends Christmas eve and Christmas day.

I've lost track of what exactly we've bought and annoyingly we haven't had time to do a proper shop this week which has meant a lot of popping to the shops for "a few bits" - always pricey!
Anyway, we're currently left with £114.07/£200. Looks pretty bad, but £60 of that was the month's supply of dog and cat food and litter.

Just found another receipt

Enormous A*di order picked up. I now have enough bread products to feed the 5,000. Tons of stocking up and a few new things to try. Can’t believe how easy that was! Perfect when you have a naughty baby.
£78.45 spent.
