I never said it was the total plus £200 , I said it should be about £200 , and no more than the total amount on the claim form ( at worst ) , but only if you lose !
So either £0 if you win , OR about £185 if you lose ( the claim total minus the spurious £63 ) , OR the amount listed on the court claim form if you lose ( at the worst case scenario )
I never said anything about you having no hope , with those woefully pitiful or missing and unlit signs there is definitely hope , because they are not in tune with lord Dennings red hand rule , definitely nothing like the signs in the Beavis case either
No landowner authority , and poor and inadequate and unlit signage are two of the main legal points in any Defence and definitely should be in your Defence and expanded upon in your witness statement
You should read words more carefully , several times , and not misconstrue them , words matter
Ps , these are what the totals should be , minus the spurious charges
£100 PCN
£50 legal fees£35 court claim fee
Total £185 ( if you lost in court but managed to get the spurious additional charges removed )2 -
Coupon-mad said:There is a distinct lack of signs within the car park near the bays, and only a request ' please park between the white posts' not a contractual sign to be seen even in daylight.So it will be that plus 200 and what your saying is I have got no hope?Why are you thinking that? It is NOT a sum PLUS £200. It's a total of up to £200 if you lose.
I told you to defend it and on what basis. This is a no brainer even if you lost.1 -

@Umkomaas
Sorry to bother you.
I have been through your list for retrieving the Land Owners details but I have only got names and office address. The only one I havent attempted is The Valuation Office because when I search for this it just gives me estate agents, is this correct or is the valuations office under a parish/area?
Also if I can't retrieve anymore details is writing and posting a letter requesting Land Authority a good idea?0 -

2. Who are you thinking of writing to?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

So the after going through and trying to get the land owners details all I managed to get is the company name, office address and who owns it. Will writing a letter to the address requesting Authority proof help?1

It might, it might not.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

You need to be asking them for their help in getting the charge cancelled. You've little chance of seeing the contract between the landowner and the PPC unless/until it gets to a court hearing.You're barking up the wrong tree.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
