    ok great, 19/11/21 but i have literally just done the AOS

    With a Claim Issue Date of 19th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 to file your Defence.

    That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
    To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
    Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

    Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    So I been down and collected all the photos and video of the carpark, which is PPS Hope Cove Outer carpark, KIngsbridge TQ7 3HJ is a small cove carpark right on the water frontin a botuique are amongst some holiday homes, hotel, a cafe, restaurant with wooden fencing to devided areas.

    I actually cant recall paying, not paying, trying to pay. What did come to mind whilst I was there today is there is no mobile coverage there and since the pandemic that's only way I pay for carparks.  as per the NtK the vehicle was parked 20.51 and left at 21.34 so 42 minutes.  Also a this time I was moving into my own property and the original NtK wasn't forwarded to me so that meant no appeal (which I did explain in an email but they just palmed off as BWlegal were dealing with it) Apo;

    Not having an app or phone number or cash is no excuse for non payment , known as bilking !

    So on the basis that the vehicle was parked for three quarters of an hour with no payment made whatsoever , on what legal grounds do you expect to fight it and win ?

    A wish and a hope isn't good enough , neither is not paying cash anymore due to covid19 , not having the cash to pay means that the driver should have read the terms and conditions and left within 5 minutes ( pay promptly by an approved method , or leave immediately )

    Yep, might be difficult but we are not putting you off defending the claim and it's their case to prove.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    I disagree. I think that if anything will put the OP off defending the claim then Redx's post will certainly help that.

    Yes but that involves paying £160 so no point!

    Thats fair enough, like I said I don't remember! and the first time I heard of this was like 2 months later with the original NtK going to a different address.  I think its a joke that they can charge you £160 for what is ultimately a mistake and technically an invoice of £1.20 plus I didnt have a chance to appeal!
