Not if prominent.  Yes if not prominent.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • That sign expressly refers to a £60 liquidated damages sum in addition to the core parking charge.

The problem will always be that there is no law to say they entitled to add £60 or more.

We all know that this is a fake fabrication from an unregulated industry and invented by the BPA because Gary Osner, a board member of the BPA thought this was a good wheeze to enable his company to profit

The now famous Osner article has no doubt been saved by many and freely available to assist people going to court.  This is just a blantant attempt to extort money

The only legal reference is the ruling of the Supreme court in the Beavis case.

Just for a bit of closure I have paid the charge in full as fighting in court for a POSSIBLE £60 off would require a lot more research and time etc, not to mention a few sleepless nights.

I again would like to thank everyone for their help and support, I would also like to apologise for taking up their time which could of been spent helping a more deserving case.

    My last question is

I initially entered a not guilty plea/ choose to fight in court, in the government gateway.

Obviously this has changed as I've paid the dept collectors directly, do I need to contact the courts or check anything before the deadline to enter my defense is reached?

    Many thanks
