@EssexHebridean I wouldn't want to catch up 800 posts either... On the anniversary of this diary I am planning to make a part 2 section in a new diary. That's in a couple of months...
Got cottage pie in the oven and some ginger flapjacks/semi biscuits.
Went in work today but a good day overall. It was nice to be in today. Talked to some different people. Showed off my garden improvements... However I left my washing out and it poured down with rain... Will review where it's up to in the morning but may need to put in the drier! I still want to wash another load.
I still need to pack.
DD isn't answering my calls so hope that means she's tucked up in bed or out having a good time... She normally wants me to pick her up after college.
Sh3ll have confirmed the new rates for gas and given me an updated estimate. It was within £2 of mine so happy with that.

I go tomorrow afternoon. But of course my washing is still outside wet on the line... I need to reclaim a suitcase from DD and pack... So who knows what time I'll actually leave!! I am WFH in the morning and have two meetings and a few bits I need to finish off.
I am sure some photos will be forthcoming.
The cottage pies were divine. I may have had 2 portions... The chicken meal at lunch was fab too. I also had porridge and some flapjacks but only SW choc bars. Having more fibre as a snack seems to be helping with appetite control but not checked scales. Also had 4 tangerines today and then an apple from my tree.
I've been using my elec blanket this week. I plan to take it with me too. It makes such a difference providing targeted heat.
Will be interesting to see what the mini £ announcement has in it tomorrow. The NI thing should help me...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
