LOL - I've probably single handedly boosted their sales with all you guys comments on them! I only really like the butterscotch flavour.
Well I'm safely home from the gathering. I spent quite a lot of time colouring - outside - in a gazebo with various family members who equally found the sheer number of people invited completely overwhelming. At one point I had 4 little kids joining in the colouring... I saw DS briefly but there were too many people to have any meaningful conversations. We chatted briefly on the 20 minute journey to the station when I dropped him off before returning to the fray. While at the party we found out a relative had just died - she'd outlasted the 3 months she was given at Christmas but she was my age so very sad. Others present were more closely related but they tried to put it to one side for the party and said they would grieve properly tomorrow.
Although there was a big buffet of food - it was sat out for hours and I couldn't eat it. So I blew SW and took DD and I for a McD on the way home... Ah well!

Sorry to hear about your relative, but well done for making it through the gathering."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Thanks jwil, MF and @WelshmansDaughter - I was fascinated at how many of my other siblings felt like me and avoided the crowd too. First thing my BIL did on arrival was hog the gazebo for us lot!
My brother talked to me about health and weight but it didn't come across well. He ignored how much other stuff I'm dealing with - and that I've made a start. He also said no to me visiting which hurt.
Today I want to do some tidying and decluttering. Also plan on making roasties for me and DD. Need to get some more fresh veg. There's plenty of turkey left even after I froze some. I may freeze some more as I don't want to risk it not getting eaten in time. I've also got a piece of mackerel left that I can have with salad later. I'll also prepare some overnight oats as I have strawberries, blackberries and frozen fruit. It would be nice to maintain or have a small loss at weigh in tomorrow. It would be nice to make some art at some point.
My present was well received even though it didn't cost much so I was happy about that.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
