That's the plan. OP can simply swap the leads over. A two minute job. Then obtain a new SATA lead for the original HDD, costing £1 or £2.Jenni_D said:
And presumably by fitting an SSD means the existing HDD can be used as internal additional storage.OnlyTheBestWillDo said:Once again; https://uk.webuy.com/product-detail/?id=sdesdelopt506005b
Though that one needs an SSD fitted. Cost from £17.
Then a fresh install of 10 or 11 to the SSD.2 -
Thanks for the replies all, I went for the i5 4th gen I linked to, the game runs smooth, loads quick, its quiet, does everything I was wanting it for.0

What has being near you to do with it?? You buy online. Free delivery with a 12 month warranty. Wow... is Amazon and eBay near you?DCFC79 said:

A false economy. A £50 PC that is not natively compatible with Windows 11.
As opposed to a relatively up to date PC, fully compatible with Windows 11 and far superior in specification; Future-proofing baked in. i5 8th Gen, NVMe SSD compatible, H.265 decoding....too many advantages to list.
You don't believe that yours is a £50 PC? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224700468714
The extra you paid was for having 16GB of RAM that you didn't need and won't be able to reuse and a cheap 240 GB SSD. Plus you received just a 90 day warranty as compared to a 12 month warranty.
Horse to water I suppose...
