Anyone got the prices for exclusive fix Nov 22 please.
https://www.britishgas.co.uk/GetAQuote/tariff-information then input your info. Roughly 3.5p/kWh for gas and 17.5p/kWh for electricity.
Exclusive fix nov 23 might be better for long term? 4.42 gas 17p s/c, 20.23 electric 27 s/c

Unless you are a very low user I'd tend to agree, especially with the extra year on the fix.
The only real downside is the £50/fuel exit fee, but I suspect people are not likely to be wanting to exit any time soon with the way things are going ...

I tried to get exclusive fix oct 2022 yesterday and was told to go through my account where there are only 2 expensive tariffs (I’m electricity only).

is this another one that’s only available if you’re lucky on the chat.

I think that is fairly obvious by now for all the old "retired" tariffs

you just have to be prepared to ask repeatedly on chat till you find someone who didn't get the memo - even then there is no guarantee of success

Given that people are also raising complaints after not been moved on to a tariff that was "promised" then its probably going to get harder & harder to get a successful result - managers will see those complaints & try to make sure their employees do not make the same mistake again

On what basis are people choosing/discovering which tariff to ask to be switched to? Is it a case of simply finding which one works out the best for you, asking for it, and hoping for the best? Or are there some tariffs which are more likely to be "accepted" than others? I got the Zero Fix Oct 22 simply because that's what everyone was doing, and now plan to at least try getting the Exclusive Fix Nov 2022, but should I check out the other tariffs?

The ones I’ve seen mentioned on the thread are
    Oct 2022 v2
    nov 22
    and nov 23

ive asked for nov 23 because whilst it’s not the absolute cheapest it’s another year, so to a degree it’s preference as well as absolute cost.
i would expect prices during 2023 to be higher than those fixed prices so to me the extra year makes sense (if you can get it), but that’s speculating.

ive not had any luck at all despite many attempts so I don’t think any are easier, it’s just down the call operator, but again that’s speculating.

I had asked to be switched to the Zero Oct 22 back on 10th Dec, they said it would take 28 days, checked now and they haven't changed it. I would check on your tariff if you are expecting a change.

Edit: Its long thread and I skim read it, seems others have had the same problem etc. Very annoying this was silently ignored.

To stir the pot a bit more, I asked them on the phone about this just now. They said it was being processed today (coincidence no?) and will take 3 days to appear. mmmmm....

I have managed to get switched to Zero Fix Oct 22.

Initially requested in December and was told it would be done, have had to chase several times and never been told no, always told will take 7 days but never happened. Finally this time an agent has done it and it shows up in my account.
