    Apparently this now discontinued?
the question is are they legally obliged to do it for those of us with it in a transcript.

Hi.  I didn't get any order number or confirmation.  I assume it has gone through as per convo.

According to @Northlight in a different thread talking about a related tariff:
Helped a relative switch to this (BG Fixed Price Sep 2022) a year ago - it was a 2 year fixed rate lauched in September 2020. Not been available for a long time..
If the Sep 22 version was offered in Sep 20, it seems likely the Oct 22 version was offered in Oct 20. Unless you've got a time machine, the only way to get onto the tariff is through the kindness or confusion of a BG CS rep.

And it’s not as though BG would offer something to get people to join only to say it’s not available, now is it?? 🙈.

All these with copies of messages from chatting with staff, all BG will come back with is the product is unavailable, and the cs rep was mistaken

I didn’t get a confirmation email but I can see from my existing BG online account (for another electricity supply) that the new switch has been instructed. I also have the chat screenshots and reference number from when they agreed to switch me to zero fixed October 2022 as of day of switch completion. Did not even mention the name of the tariff they were switching me to initially let alone anything about it. BG can come back and say tariff was unavailable but that’s irrelevant imo as they have clearly in writing said it was available to switch to during our chat and that that is the tariff I will be on once switch completes.

Ps this tariff was also not available online (same as now) to switch to a couple of months ago as hasn’t been on sale for quite a while….but I still managed to get my other supply switched to it again via live chat.

i.e. BG Fixed Price Sep 2022

The BG Zero Fix Aug 21 version was offered in Aug/Sep 20 ;)

So I never got a confirmation email from BG, but I've managed to register an online account with them and it says my switch is on track for 7th December. It's now just a race against time to beat the SOLR.

Which tariff did you sign up to online?
    What are the rates?
Are there any early exit fees?

Are you sure it was British Gas, and not British Gas Evolve?
