    It seems to be something that almost all banks are heading towards. At the moment, I haven't fully come around to the numbers being like that. Something just doesn't seem right about it.

    agreed mate I know TSB Halifax HSBC First Direct have gone that way, Lloyds RBS are looking to change their debit cards soon starting with 11-15 accounts first. Hopefully others will banks will join soon,

    RBS have been flat for some time but their version retains the card details on the front except the 3 digit CVV2 like embossed cards.

    That Lloyds one seems to be the best of the sideways cards as the Lloyds will show when it's in your wallet and when you take it out the chip will be at the front ready for a chip and pin machine.

    Received a new debit card from Lloyds two days ago. Very disappointed to see that it's still the old style design.
