It does seem they will be updating their cards. This is a card design for their Smart Start account https://www.lloydsbank.com/current-accounts/youth-and-student-accounts/smart-start.htmlGTR_King said:I have ordered new card hopefully will be the new design as i prefer it to the old one,

I'm not hugely bothered about the change from the old blue and silver to just blue - but there's a practical reason for some people...Alex9384 said:Well, maybe unbelievable for many on this forum, but I DO care about card design too.
Of course it's not the most important thing but it still matters to me.
Btw, I received a card for newly opened Ultimate Rewards account and it's still the old design. I was a bit surprised that it's actually very dark blue, although on pictures it's black.
I like the different cards I carry to be obviously different - my Halifax is a darker blue than my TSB and Santander is red - so I know which one I'm grabbing. Even more important for a visually impaired person.
Way back in the 90s I think it was National and Provincial who offered a choice of credit card design images?I need to think of something new here...3 -
How long after you got your new style card did Apple Pay get updated? What did it say in the app?stclair said:

looks like they starting with Money smart 11-15 then Current account Account,
Reward/Ultimate Rewards are last to get new design
Now most new accounts will get new design and existing customers will get old design for now which is annoying0 -
It was the National & Provincial. I had one of their credit cards with a picture of a bee on it.NBLondon said:Alex9384 said:Well, maybe unbelievable for many on this forum, but I DO care about card design too.
