I hope they don't because I like the existing Lloyds debit cards.

It does seem they will be updating their cards. This is a card design for their Smart Start account https://www.lloydsbank.com/current-accounts/youth-and-student-accounts/smart-start.html

Bank of Scotland also has a new design for one of their cards

Well, maybe unbelievable for many on this forum, but I DO care about card design too.
Of course it's not the most important thing but it still matters to me.

Btw, I received a card for newly opened Ultimate Rewards account and it's still the old design. I was a bit surprised that it's actually very dark blue, although on pictures it's black.
I'm not hugely bothered about the change from the old blue and silver to just blue - but there's a practical reason for some people...

I like the different cards I carry to be obviously different - my Halifax is a darker blue than my TSB and Santander is red - so I know which one I'm grabbing.    Even more important for a visually impaired person.

Way back in the 90s I think it was National and Provincial who offered a choice of credit card design images?
I need to think of something new here...

How long after you got your new style card did Apple Pay get updated? What did it say in the app?

I ordered replacement card but looks like it old style lol, will ring them up if it not new style card when turns up

looks like they starting with Money smart 11-15 then Current account Account,

Reward/Ultimate Rewards are last to get new design

Now most new accounts will get new design and existing customers will get old design for now which is annoying
