I am still missing where exactly in the Chase offer terms, or general T&Cs, it says that you don't get the 3% Amazon cashback if you use a Curve card. Can the wise MSE owls quote them here, please?wiseonesomeofthetime said:

If you use Curve with Amazon, the transaction is between Curve and Amazon and doesn't involve Chase.
Chase's transaction is with Curve, not Amazon in these cases.1 -
Your theory falls flat on its nose on the fact that I get the standard 1% Chase cashback when using Curve-fronted Chase for Amazon purchases. And that there is, AFAICS, no mention in Chase's 3% offer, that it only applies if the Chase card is used directlygt94sss2 said:

Please point me at the T&Cs / offer terms that state that the 3% offer only applies if you don't use the Curve card. Or stop defending the indefensible.0 -
you don't get 3% if you use curve. End of. Goodnight.0

Daliah, not knowing much about the Chase card, can you confirm if 1% cash back is present with any spend with any retailer or is it at specific retailers that apply?
I recall with Curve that I could choose 6 retailers that would provide me 1% cash back, but no cash back from curve anywhere else (unless using a curve fronted cash back credit card). If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing0 -
The Curve cashback is something entirely separate from any cashback you get from the card. You can get both, for the same transaction.MrFrugalFever said:Daliah, not knowing much about the Chase card, can you confirm if 1% cash back is present with any spend with any retailer or is it at specific retailers that apply?

The 1% Chase cashback works like clockwork with a Curve card, subject to the exclusions list published by Chase, including for Amazon.
What you don’t get is the extra 2% under the Amazon offer.

Yes of course. My question was more a rethorical one, in response to previous posts.Have you asked Chase directly about the Amazon cashback offer? It doesn't really matter what anyone on MSE says, you will only get a proper answer from Chase.0 -
Its any retailer (including abroad), although there are exceptions based on the retailers MCC codeMrFrugalFever said:Daliah, not knowing much about the Chase card, can you confirm if 1% cash back is present with any spend with any retailer or is it at specific retailers that apply?

I don't see how they need to make special terms to disallow Curve card as you have not used your Chase card to make a purchase on Amazon, you have used your Curve card. The fact that you get the standard 1% Chase cashback via Curve is neither here nor there.
