Chase Bank 3% Amazon Cashback

It says "see the cashback added to your rewards balance when the payment clears". I think it says the same for the 1%, so your best bet is to ask Chase0

You do get the full number in the app, yes.....for the virtual card. The physical card has a totally different card number, go and look at your transactions, it tells you the last 4 digits.crumpet_man said:emmajones1976 said:And that is why you have more than one account. I get 2% cashback at Asda which is credited to my mobile phone bill, sadly I cant register the Chase card with this scheme and get a bonus 1% on top as they use a virtual card number (which isnt yet compatible with Samsung Pay) and they will only provide me the last 4 digits of the physical card number which I use in Asda, so I use a different Visa credit card in Asda to get 2% rather than 1%.
Airtime rewards? I have registered my Chase debit card OK, you can get the full number in the Chase app. Also, I have the Chase card used with Curve card, also registered with Airtime Rewards.
Chase wont provide me with the full 16 digit physical card number, I asked, so until the card is accepted on Samsung Pay I cant get Airtime Rewards through Chase, well not for physical transactions anyway0 -
Interesting, cheers. Does it tell you the expiry date and CVC though?simongregson said:
If you get yourself an nfc scanner app for your phone you can find the actual card number for airtime rewards. I use one called 'credit card reader' and can confirm it works fine tracking on airtime.emmajones1976 said:And that is why you have more than one account. Nobody is saying ONLY have a Chase account.

Edit - tried the app, sadly it stars out the middle 8 numbers
2nd edit - tried another app, full number now revealed with expiry date, which is all I need. Thank you very much

A few more hints for Chase about cashback. Numerous UK employers, amongst them the NHS with 1.3 million staff, offer their employees, and some also their retirees, discount scheme on purchases from a vast number of retailers. Here's a tiny example from one of those schemes:
Argos: 7% (ongoing)
John Lewis: 4% ongoing, 4.5% for Black Friday
Asos: 7% ongoing
H&M: 10% ongoing
Halfords: 10% ongoing
Holiday Extras Airport Parking: 12% ongoing
Currys: 7% ongoing
BT Shop: between 2% and 5% depending on products, ongoing
Costa, Green King, Cafe Nero: 10% ongoing
Hobbycraft 10% ongoing
Specsavers 10% ongoing
Boots 7% ongoing
Selfridges 7% ongoing
Ernest Jones and H Samuel 8.5% ongoing
Tesco 4% ongoing
ASDA 4%+ ongoing
Sainsburys 5% ongoing
booking.com, lastminute.com 7% ongoing
hotels.com 9%, might be a limited offer
ghd 11%
B&Q 5%
and so on, there are hundreds of companies in this scheme. Lots of one-off cashback deals, too, for services such as broadband, and for a variety of insurance policies. Also some great mobile offers - I have a 38% discount on my SIM-only mobile deal, for instance.
Quite a few of the High Street Banks also offer cashback deals. Here's a little snapshot of some of my current offers at Santander. I have similar from Barclaycard, Lloyds and Halifax
The one company rarely ever seen on any discount scheme is AMAZON, although they do regularly appear on TopCashback and Quido with cashback offers for some electronics products.
Of course an additional 1% or more cashback is always welcome, and for people unfortunate enough not to have access to a discount scheme through their employers, through their banks or through their credit card, Chase does provide a welcome little perk, which should be comforting news for them.

Looking at the previous comments it looks like Chase are something of a Marmite bank.
Why people need to get so agitated about cashback is beyond my comprehension.1 -
It's just one transaction of 3% of the spend (I got £2.37 for my Prime renewal for example)older_wiser said:is the extra 2% credited the next day etc or at some future point
i seem to be still getting just 1% on my amazon purchases i have activated the offer but i am using it via the curve card so perhaps thats the problem.0 -
You need to use the Chase card directly with Amazon. If you use it via Curve, you won't get the extra 2% cashback.older_wiser said:is the extra 2% credited the next day etc or at some future point

My mistake I didn't realise you needed a different number to the physical card. I use mine behind Curve and that tracks on Airtime plus if the transaction does not earn cashback with Chase then I can use the go back in time feature on Curve to change the transaction to a cashback credit card.emmajones1976 said:

Where in their offer T&Cs or FAQ do they say this?gt94sss2 said:

They don't need to!Daliah said:

If you use via Curve, the card number in the Amazon system is the Curve card, not the Chase one, so, while Chase will pay the 1% cashback, Amazon do not track the transaction for the other 2%
The promotion is between Amazon and Chase. Not Amazon and Curve!
