Morning all,
I haven't felt up to posting much these past couple of days; lots of worries whirling around in my head and my sleep has been terrible.
However I have just about kept on top of things in the house and the children are happy enough so I will take that as a win. The sun is poking its head out now as well so I will peg the washing out and walk the dog.
Take care all x10 -
((Hugs)) ASB xx. A good dog walk can work wonders. Hope it works for you.
Washing pegged up, bedroom and spare oom dusted and vacuumed. Ensuite cleaned, then while my back was turned, DH felt the need to use it 😡 rather than the downstairs loo. Intended to dust the top of the wardrobe, went downstairs to get the steps and forgot why I was there…just remembered now that I am sitting with a cuppa…
I’m on strike with cleaning the new study, as DH has turned it into his pit, despite starting with a clean slate and plenty of shelving / storage. We will see who can hold out the longest!
Plans for the rest of the day: pick up DD from big town when she actually tells me which train she is on, take her shopping, cook a roast dinner (her request!). In between I have plenty of knitting to tackle.9 -
Thank you, it helped a little. I am going to cook myself a fish finger sandwich for lunch and give my head a wobble xx9

Hope you're feeling better very soon, Valli. *Healing vibes* heading your way.(((Hugs))) ASB.Went up to the attic, moved some stuff around, brought a couple of plastic sets of drawers down for the sewing stuff which are now full of sewing gibble so at least it's off the floor in my office at last, and my desk is a lot clearer.Better is good enough.8

Honey Bear - so sorry x
Roof is finished. Scaffolding, however, will stay up until Monday as the scaffolders are in Birmingham - and I am not. The bits I can see look much better. The chances of the roof staying on are much better. The chances of birds nesting in the attic are reduced so all good.
Having worked a full week last week, been out at the weekend and having been unwell the house is looking neglected. And I didn't see the point of trying to clean the kitchen with so much dust around (outside) I have DW, WM and TD and ironed though.
Now I need to continue picking up gibble and carp and sending it on its way.
I made soup. I fell asleep sitting upright watching TV!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear9 -

I had an interesting day yesterday. Still haven’t got a starting date for new job and was advised not to hand my notice in yet so I attended a group interview for an apprenticeship. It felt just like the tv programme.
wac club room looks unused, I have left some fruit toast in there for early risers.9 -
Morning all
Early meeting this morning so I’m up, showered and dressed with first cuppa in hand. Wm has been loaded and will start on the timer shortly, I will sort it on to the airer when I take a short break in a couple of hours.
Not sure yet how much other flying will be done as I have a pretty packed day, house looks ok though after my efforts at the beginning of the week.
I do need to try and fit some exercise in today, the dark evenings mean I don’t want to go out for a walk after work so must make more of an effort to go at lunchtime, will start today!!
take care all, back later x9 -
