As I'm going with dealership's finance at this time, prob 8 or 9.9 apr.
Whilst I fully appreciate I won't be accepted for headline rates.

If I were to apply via Mortgage providers Nationwide -from 3.9.
Could a decline or unwanted higher rate, have a negative effect on any dealership offer.

    thanks
Has the dealer already done the hard credit check for the finance?  It might impact on the mortgage provider, but the credit check should be valid still as long as you don't wait too long, so wouldn't be affected by any checks done by your mortgage provider.  I'd think carefully about adding it to your mortgage as although the APR will be lower. it might not be fixed and you will pay a lot more interest for 3.9%APR over 15 years than at 9.9 for 3.

thanks clearscore confirms hard search was done.
    TOYOTA FINANCIAL SERVICES
    18th Nov 2021

To be clear I referred to Nationwide as my Mortgage provider as example of whom is seen as potential unsecured finance loan from 3.9 apr via clearscore with 95% success rating.

This isn't anyway linked to my existing Nationwide Mortgage.

Considering my difficult financial years, I suspect Ide be declined as one of the 5% i.e. not one of 95% successful applicants.
Though as a matter of interest, if I were to try Nationwide, could this negatively affect any finance  company, Zoe dealership are planning to use.

t.b.h. I'm not 100% this is going ahead, though latest dealership comms was pre delivery servicing update.
I understand I've been through Finance proposal, though no idea which company was successful if any had been.

    thanks

Thankfully missed call this morning, which I since returned this evening.
Finance has been agreed with Toyota Financial Services.

    Zoe being collected tomorrow.
Aviva car insurance continues no change in payments.

Looking forward to EV era and what charging challenges I'm to encounter.

    thanks.

Final post, unless there's any further question's.
Zoe collected, 68 miles estimated charge, 51 miles once home.
I'll venture into a local charging station tomorrow.

I called chargeplace Scotland, access card is on it's way.

Maybe I could start a new thread.
As my included charger cable isn't packaged and loose in boot and thick and heavy.

I'm going to purchase a new charging cable early 2022.
Where can I find cable type info, is it type 2 to 2 or to 1.
I suspect I'm needing 7.2kw's to continue to use local chargers.

    thanks

What charging cable/cables do you currently have? Without knowing this how do you know if you need a new one?

I would think should should have been given type 2 to 3pin and a type 2 to type 2?

Very few came with the cable bag, but you could find it on eBay if you want. I have one and never use it.

Instead I bought the false floor, which allows you to store cables under the floor of the boot:

    https://www.glynhopkinpartsonline.co.uk/products/renault-zoe-double-trunk-floor-compartment-8201721942

Not cheap though. I bought mine second hand.

As for the cable, it's thick and heavy as it allows for higher three phase charging (up to 22kW). The cable it comes with enables this.

If you want a thinner one for just 7kW chargers you need type 2 to type 2. A three pin granny charger to type 2 can be useful, but it will only charge at 3kW maximum, so only for emergencies.

Thanks I've never known of false floor.

Meanwhile I re checked and looks as though I have been re charging at 3kw as charging point is 7kw stations.
Not sure where I can find 22kw 3 phase, as Ide pay extra for that type of cable If 2015 Zoey can charge faster?

    thanks

    From their excellent range chart.
    Looks as though I drive 2015 zoey-R240.
I have never seen150 miles though have seen 90's from full charge, though recently has been low 80 miles.
from that chart it shows realistic numbers 70-110 miles max range which in my experience is very accurate.

    thanks
