It's all very well getting proof of booster to show on an 'app' but I'm not aware that it is now compulsory to have a smartphone. Are details of booster jabs now shown on the Covid pass letter?
To get an answer to my own question I have submitted a request for another NHS COVID Pass letter. We shall see...

You can go on the NHS website https://covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/SelectedFlow/ to see your records, check they're correct, download the PDF, or have it emailed to you, and if you have a printer, print your own.  You should take note that the barcode expires after 30 days, so for a future holiday, get a fresh copy just before you go.

I had my booster over two weeks ago and although it is showing on the NHS App, it is not showing on the NHS Pass letter that arrived this morning.

Oh, thanks @virgo17, that's not good: why should resources be put into updating a system that is only available to some, and not the system that is available to all? I was aware that I could do things the way @Arthurian has mentioned, but what a palaver! The NHS COVID Pass letter I have used up until now was easy to obtain, is a hard copy, and has no expiry date - no need to keep renewing every 30 days.

Booster and third doses will show up automatically in the digital COVID Pass and will be visible from midday on Friday for users in England but will not immediately be available via the COVID Pass letter service. This will be updated in due course.

  • We decided that going on to Brussels was not a good idea due to riots etc but will stay in U.K. and get further depressed reading about the P.M. and his pals latest calamities.I hate to think how we are going to pay for all the mad-cap ideas Boris, with Carrie's help, comes up with .Plus paying for all the sheer waste from various ill-thought out and rushed through schemes. 'Never mind' seems to be the Governments response to all the sleaze and back-handers, and people ask why we wish to escape from U.K.
