    +1 to above.

For now it is only the full 1st/2nd vaccinations you need to show as proof.

It may well change in the future but I assume the first and main priority is to get the booster dose in to the arms of those who need it or it is recommended for.   The AP development to show the extra booster can wait.
There was an article in the Daily Mail this morning that France might block people over 65!!! staying in their Hotels or using their Restaurants if they can’t show proof of a Booster Jab 😳
Why would that be any immediate concern to the NHS and its app?

I have. Why are the FRENCH requirements any immediate concern for a BRITISH app?

Yes it may get added by next month but peoples holidays plans during a global pandemic, and foreign government requirements, should be a secondary concern.

Why are you in such an argumentative mood? If the French ask for proof of Booster Jab, as intimated on various posts and also newspapers, then how are Holidaying Brits supposed to stay/eat in France, if they can’t show proof of 3rd jab, not everyone has a smart phone, so being able to print off proof of 3rd jab is a necessity.

Its not a necessity to go on holiday during a global pandemic either.
If you choose to do this you cant moan if you run into problems. In any case the booster will no doubt end up on the app eventually.

Aah, now we get to the crux of all of your posts, you are not interested in the NHS apps, France, Belgium or anywhere else in the World for that matter, you are only interested in posting irrelevant comments because you have nothing better to do and like upsetting people with your self opinionated drivel, if you want to post comments why don’t you try to help people instead of creating smokescreens to hide your true thoughts.
  • Think you should go to bed, mate.

@Gastines3 in answer to your question …

•There is no requirement to have had the booster to enter France ( just the 2 jabs )

•No requirement to demonstrate that you have had the booster for the “pass sanitaire.”

•From Dec 15th - only over 65’s will need to show that they have had the booster for the pass sanitaire .( No entry restrictions to the country )

and on this the UK Gov website says
We will update this page with further information when it becomes available.”

To be fair the UK Gov has designed the app to work with the UK rules and as such works fine as currently there are no requirements in UK to prove that you have had a booster - they wouldn’t have know before it was announced by France - that it was going to change it’s requirements, there is still a month to go before the change in rules for the over 65s.

If you keep an eye on https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france/coronavirus you will see the information about how to prove that you have had a booster as soon as it is available.

We should be doing everything we can to encourage people to get their jabs. I can’t count the number of times I’m asked at the vac centre when will the vaccine show on the app. If people realise that a booster won’t show, then there is less encouragement to get vaccinated.

Yes broadly agree with much of that. The "global pandemic" is becoming endemic and will be with us for decades if not centuries. Should folk never go on holiday again?
