@RelievedSheff I’m so sorry you’ve suffered a covid filled January too. I don’t know if I’m able to get any sick pay as I’ve not had covid but I’ve had to cancel a couple of days work as I’ve had to look after May whilst ex has Roo. Not sure on the rules.

Hey @jwil lovely to see you. Because it’s the easiest thing to do and what I always do first, I’m attacking the grocery shopping. This week o have £20 of change and that will have to do! Lidls and a list is what I need!

@missymoo81 - are all the messages the same to each person?  If they are you can just type up one email and send it to yourself and then Blind Copy to everyone else.  Will save loads of time particularly if they are long messages!

Major panic it looks like my tax bill is £5.5k not the £2.1 I thought it was. There’s another payment which I thought was due in July. Just asked for clarification….. but it doesn’t look good &@£* and other rude words!!!!!

Oh no @missymoo81, that’s not so good. Is there anything you can do re spreading out the payments? That is a really huge increase though.

I know you’ve had tax issues before… it’s hard when self employed and with irregular income etc. Do you always see yourself staying self employed? Just thinking if one out of the two of you had a regular income in a salaried job it might ease some pressure and reduce the unexpected tax bills. Just a thought, I know some people love self employment despite the challenges!
