That’s really positive about the tax as I know it was a huge amount.
Budget looks good, but I do think £120 is a bit optimistic for food? Or is it your half and your OH pays the rest? Do toiletries, cleaning supplies, bin bags etc come from that too?We will have spent over £500 on food this month for the same size family as yours, not including cleaning supplies etc 🙈 now, I KNOW it’s possible to do better than me, but £120 seems impossible!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

I was thinking that too - esp as you both eat a lot of proteinSealed pot challenge 822

Do you need to pay for apple storage? Can you not use some of the free storage out there? It's not a huge amount, but £3 a month could buy something else. Google has free storage, I get some with BT, and unlimited with Prime. Thanks so much I really appreciate your comments @Bluegreen143 and @dawnybabes it is a VERY small
amount. But I’m looking to supplement it with surveys etc. I’m learning to eat differently. I’m having less protein, I’ve managed to wean OH off a lot of things, breakfasts are now porridge or toast, and lunches are toasties with fruit and a chocolate bar. Dinners I’ve managed to bulk out a lot more. I’m trying not to use the oven at all. £30 a week won’t go far but I’m trying to make it work.We tend to get toiletries and loo roll in bulk paid for by the business.1 -
@jwil thank you! I didn’t know you could get free storage! Have you a link?

Thanks @jwil I will have a look! Weirdly I dreamt about this last night. How is everyone? A new week a new focus.I’m just sat watching The Cockfields again before heading off to work. I’m backwards and forwards today. We’ve had a member of staff leave and it’s all a bit crazy trying to fill the shifts and keep everyone happy. Haven’t been to lidl yet I do need to go and get some bits but it doesn’t need to be today.1

Ah more spanners in the works. More staff are leaving. Not sure what we’re going to do. So stressed it’s unreal. OH is struggling. Absolutely at a loss at the moment. Feel like it’s one step forward and 8 steps back.1
