Good luck with the doctors @missymoo81 - fingers crossed it’s not anything but good for you getting it checked out.Re phones, I have Giffgaff sim only which is £10 a month for 15GB data (and the usual unlimited calls & texts you now get). It’s really unlikely you’d use more than that, I only seem to use about 2-3GB each month.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Thanks @Bluegreen143 that sounds good. Again will check that out.
@tunathe_cat I do have a community fridge, I’m not sure if it’s still running but I have emailed them! Thank you!1 -
I know I may be about to sound like a bad mum, but with the clothes, perhaps go for the size slightly too big. Not shoes and not so that they are drowning in them, but so in a few months when they need the next size up you wont be back to square 1. I also buy things that can be layered in the winter but will work in the summer - obviously shorts etc wont work but short sleeve t-shirts under hoodies. Accept any hand me downs going and ask on freecycle. Yes sometimes items are not much good and will perhaps only be used for the garden, but generally there are some very decent items you can have for freeMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hey @missymoo81 I changed my phone provider before Xmas and like you was a bit apprehensive. I had been with mu old company for over a decade. However its is actually super simple,. much more so than is used to be. You just ask your old company for what is called a PAC code, and give it to you new company and it all switches over and you keep your number. https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/guides/porting-your-mobile-phone-number/#:~:text=To%20keep%20your%20mobile%20number,will%20then%20schedule%20the%20switch
I looked at the SIM only deal on this site and ended up paying less than a fiver but i don't need much data.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Sorry another tip I have learnt along the way.....Wellies - rather than getting pink sparkly ones etc, get a neutral colour and that way your youngest can inherit them rather than selling or passing them on. They don't tend to wear them that often (not here anyway) so don't wear out before feet grow. I am sure there are other items too but wellies are the ones that stick in my mind the mostMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

@slm6002 that made me giggle - I’m in Scotland and my kids wear wellies year round, they currently have two pairs (kicking about garden wellies and then posh warm ones lined with faux fur) and usually put holes in them before they outgrow them - I once bought Monkey three consecutive pairs in the same size due to holes! But great advice for warmer, drier areas of the country!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Bluegreen143 your comments made me giggle too. We inherit a lot of pairs of wellies too that have been bought perhaps for a school trip and worn once. Perhaps we just like venturing out as much when it is wet and soggy down here in the south lolMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
