For Angel - I'm sorry - I don't have the debt charity links in my signature as I'm not 'clever enough' to do the 'click here' type of link.
So I will list them here:
Citizen's Advice Bureau: http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk
CCCS: http://www.cccs.co.uk Tel. 0800 138 1111
National Debtline: http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk Tel. 0808 808 4000
All of the above Charities are fully endorsed by MSE Martin. Their advice is free, impartial, confidential and professional. I must add that PAYPLAN are also endorsed by Martin, and do sterling work in the field of debt advice - the only reason that I don't do links for them is that they are not, in the strictest sence, a charity, but their advice is also free and professional.
There are, also, many other charities, including Christians Against Poverty, so there really is no need to face things on your own.
I would, also urge you to have a look at the Debt Free Wannabe forum, on this site: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=76 where you will find an awful lot of support, and advice, for someone in your situation.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I strongly urge you to start your own thread, on the DFW board, as you may be pleasantly surprised with some of the advice, particularily in respect to the limited, and even non-existant, powers that creditors/county court judgements have outside of the UK.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Thanks for the advise but don't have much faith in the CAB as when I went into my local office the only 'help' they gave me was to go bankrupt!

So back to my question then?
Has your frugality got to the better of you now then?
I thought that £15 a month on a broadband connection was too much of a burden on your budget. You claimed only to have internet access on Tuesdays when visiting family.

Ditto from me, BG. You have started a thread, which has caused division and argument, rather than discussion, yet you have, contually, failed to answer any direct questions, whether they be about 'your opinion' on Bank Charges or your attitude towards those of us who contest these charges as 'unlawfull'?
I share my fellow poster's confusion.
Over to you.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
