Weekly Flylady Thread 1st November 2021

Thank you for GAS wishes for my DH.  He went through a bad patch yesterday but I was able to speak to him later a d he is doing ok.

Yesterday I dusted and hoovered the whole house, cleaned bathroom and ensuite, did WMx5, walked and then bathed Rosie, watched Strictly, and tried to eat proper meals.

Today Rosie and I are doing the 75-minute drive to spend time with DS2 and family, and I'm visiting DH at 5.00.  I have done another WMx 2 since getting up.  Hopefully I won't need to fly much this week.

Iona I hope Mr Iona is on the mend and home soon. Make sure you rest too! You sound like you have been very busy!

We did parkrun yesterday, but I walked quite a bit of it 😕 DD2 was home and hogging the WM! I managed to do 2 loads of our washing too. DS has spent the whole week sorting out his new bedroom! I feel like putting a rocket under him because he has been so slow!! My room is still cluttered as a result 😕 
I did manage to take his clothes from the CoD in our room and into his. He has sorted through them, binned some & we have a bag for the CS. I have 1 load to put through the WM before they fill a 2nd CS bag (his old room was tiny, stuffed to the rafters & kept closed day & night, so there is a mold problem in there). It has all been folded a la Marie Kondo and put away. We shall see how long that lasts! 
I managed to clean one clear corner of the small BR, but there is still stuff on the floor 🤬 It is so frustrating!! The filter on the dys0n was washed, so I am waiting for that to dry.

On to today....DH has gone off to a 10k race and we are out for lunch later. I am lazing about in bed! I think a little list is needed to get me going 😂

Morning all.
Busy morning so far. Dog walk, dailies, quickly hoovered through, s&sd bathrooms, descaling of hot water dispenser ongoing.  One sofa cover is in machine, will be followed by the other one later.  

I have some online Christmas shopping to do including now for a new DGD who arrived last night so they'll now be known as DGD1 and DGD2.

I had bad dreams about work last night - I don't go back to the paid stuff until Wednesday!!!

Morning all

Hope Mr Ionafan is improving.

So far I have taken cardboard out to the appropriate bin, hung out washing, ironed yesterday's line dried and Friday's tumble dried loads and they are now airing on the maiden in front of a sunny window.

Went to the Asian Association's Divali celebration last night and did rather well in the raffle, scoring 2 prizes!

Need to move the rabbit run up the garden as the scaffolders are coming this week - my soffits and fascias are being done on Monday next and not before time - lumps of mortar, from the edges, keep getting dislodged.  

I'm at work ALL week but will endeavour to post lists which I will not be following...lol

Congratulations to Jazee!
Just back from a lovely weekend staying with friends in ASB / YL country.   I waved to lots of flyladies on our way across the country and up the M1. I trust you saw me in the distance 😉

Absolutely no flying has been done all weekend, so please don’t remove my budding wings. I’m into the 4 day week working from Monday, so will need to get a new-to-me routine going.  Step one - Sunday afternoons, write the week’s meal plan - and stick to it.

Love and hugs all round. I’ve lost this post twice, so I’m quitting whilst the going is good.  See you on the other side xx

Ah I wondered who that was waving at me glad you had a nice time Fayolle.

Rather lovely walk on the coast, DH managed 4.5miles without too much difficulty which was brilliant.  Lovely sandwich, cake and flask of coffee on a sheltered spot overlooking the sea.  It was very windy but not as cold as I was expecting.

Doggie blankets washed and dried outside.  Clean washing put away, downstairs floors hoovered, floors will get mopped later.  Fajhitas for tea.  Teatowels to go in the wash as we dont have any clean ones left.

Round I have this recurring dream with different people in it, but every time I am going somewhere, everyone is relying me to organise the trip, and I have forgotten something essential.  This clearly says something about my state of mind at the minute.

Going to go and get tea organised, then I have last nights Strictly to watch.

Visit to DS2 achieved. following a diversion we saw a castle
DH and I cleaned and help organise his new place. The kitchen is a better size but the other rooms are a lot smaller. The shower needs sorting as it flooded the whole bathroom and the corridor when one of the staff tested it.
Booster jabs booked.
Next week I need to research comfortable work shoes as I have lived in trainers and boots for the last few years.
