Thanks everyone. I’m not sure when I will start as there isn’t a set time for checks to come back. I think operation sort the house and batch cook will need to start. DH says we need to decide about DG’s house.

Good morning xx
I seem to have finally caught up with my sleep and I'm up, my bed is made, breakfast eaten and first brew is being supped.
It's been a nippy one so I've put the heating on low to take the chill off.
I bought some Christmas cards at the posh farm shop - but only because they were not posh farm shop prices iykwim. I still need to buy the 'special' Christmas cards plus a couple for December/ January birthdays. I have a good stash of cards for female birthdays but none for the two godsons with upcoming birthdays.
Plans for today include:
Collect leather footstool I'm buying from a friend.
Drop off birthday presents for niece and great niece at DB's
Tea at a local pub at 7pm with P and S, DS and GF
Round 1:
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
Text J to arrange time for collection
Co-op- buy chocs for niece
Wrap chocs
Text DB to arrange time for drop off
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Safe travelling vibes to anyone venturing onto the roads today xx
Love to all

Good morning all,
Beautifully sunny out there, but very frosty white. Another day to be glad that I didn’t have to scrape the car an hour or so ago.
Up, showered, bed made, breakfasting. Must get dressed next, then tackle the ironing mountain while DH is still locked away on work calls.
Need to sort out a couple of buttons for the long suffering knitting which is finally finished. What is the betting that the button collection (not small by any means!) will have nothing suitable in it.
Off to get dressed, have a lovely day all, and wrap up warm xx

Morning, I'm in today but I think I must tackle the admin tray, desk and computer set up.
It's cool here this morning although not below freezing yet. Having the pellet stove come on before we get up is making the kitchen lovely and I haven't put the heating on yet. I will set the heating to keep the house at a reasonable temperature so that it doesn't get too cold for the cats when we're not in with the pellet stoves on.
Bed made, clothes picked up
DW unloaded
Kitchen tidied
Bins out including bedroom & bathroom
Off to close windows upstairs as it will get cold up there soon, been open for 30 minutes that should be enough to air, I hope.
How long do you leave your windows open for? I have big windows open wide, bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the house, it's about 3°C outside.7 -
Good morning
Congrats on the job DM 😁👏
Paid stuff today. Thankfully the little one has arrived happy this morning! For the last 2 weeks he has screamed for the first half hour and it has been like the bad old days 😭 I have realised that he wants to sit in the buggy for a while until he is ready to play 🤦♀️ although he didnt need to today 😁
I have walked the dog, poo picked in the garden & emptied the food bin. I need to empty the DW and we are going to pop to the shop for some fruit. I will check with DH to see if we need anything else first. Then I think we will do some painting - fireworks & bonfires!
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them. I am feeling a bit meh at the moment - I don't know why! I had my booster yesterday, so have an achy arm but slept OK. I don't think it is that, as I have been fed up for a few days. I keep finding my mind wandering trying to work out how I can take a few days off, but it doesn't seem possible 😕 DH has been a grumpy old fart - I don't think that helps! 😂
Have a good day everyone7 -
I forgot to say....Kaz I love hearing about all the wildlife in your garden 😍 It sounds amazing and I am very jealous!7

All very quiet here... Pigpen: you've not said much since you went to the outlaws - I hope you and yours are OK
DH is still battling his high temperature but is no worse than he was first thing this morning. Rosie is a bit confused because I keep running downstairs to check on him. (For those of you not familiar with the layout of my house: my study is one of the upstairs bedrooms and DH's room is downstairs.)
Guess which bit of my list I didn't manage to complete yesterday? Of course it was [muffled drumroll please] the hoovering! It will get done, but probably not today. I've been awake since 4.15, though I haven't achieved a great deal so far. I must take Rosie out before the kids come out of school. She hated the fireworks last night, and there will doubtless be many more tonight and tomorrow.
Better crack on, then. See you later xx7 -
Back from poppy selling as I have run out....................could have sold a whole box of the metal poppies, but was only given 10 on the first place, I have been told I can have a new box of items tomorrow.GI the wildlife in the garden are annoying me, they have eaten all the strawberry leaves, rhubarb leaves and logan berry bush.............I know it is deer as there is deer poop in that area, I'm not happy I love picking my own strawberries in the summer, but fingers crossed the roots are ok and will recover.Daily stuff is doneWM out on line, in the sun shine.Hope everyone is okBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz I can see how annoying that would be! But beautiful all the same 😊
Shop visited & fruit purchased. DW emptied, children fed. Little one is asleep - older 2 have been painting. I have cleaned up, and now another one is asleep (yay!) I have a headache & a sore arm, and I am grumpy! Roll on 5pm!!8
