Good luck with the interview/s Dancemum. I've thrown a lot of sticks in all directions for that pesky BD, so that should keep it well busy for at least a week. (((Hugs)))Kitchen list completed, a bit more brick scrubbing and rinsing done and they're now getting a rinse in the rain on the sundeck. I've also spent quite a bit of time cleaning the shower room and the bathroom, both of which needed a good scrub, and done a bit of vacuuming. The plumber's been and said the central heating needs draining down to replace a valve in the heated towel rail that doesn't work on the central heating, which is a bore, so he'll have to come back to do that later in the week. That's enough for one day.Better is good enough.10

Afternoon all
thanks for the lists, I’m in again, I didn’t get my batch cooking done yesterday as I decided to go and buy a car!! Not very MSE but it was a planned purchase and something that I’ve been wanting for aaaaagessss….hoping to pick it up on Friday.
day off paid stuff today so I’ve been productive; 3 x wm run and 2 loads of it dried on the line in the breeze and the sun, 2 bath mats finishing on the airer, they may take a while lol. Batch cooking done, 2 cottage pies, Greek fish dish for tonight (new recipe for us) assembled, just need to bake later, also made 2 lots of chicken curry, 1 will be for tomorrow and 1 for the freezer. Also made a cake as we are visiting family next weekend so can take it with us ( will freeze it in the mean time so it’s out of temptations way!)
after that lot the kitchen needed a bit of a scrub so I will consider today’s list done as well.
I have my virtual book group tonight, DH will tackle the ironing while I am occupied with that.
hugs to all, help yourselves to sticks, spoons GWS vibes as needed x9 -
First sit down of the day for me and I need it
Based on my activities I estimate I must've lost half a stone! I'm in the middle of blitzing the first floor bathroom, which is used mainly by the boys *shudder*. I have a list of stuff needed to be sorted in there tomorrow, but I've run out of bleach, so have had to stop today.
I'm struggling a bit with anxiety ATM, and have been waking up feeling shaky recently. Sometimes I can work through it, which i managed today, which meant I could go out and get chicken feed and tick that off my list.
Sausage, mash and onion gravy planned for dinner and a grocery delivery due around 8pm, so once that arrives, I'm going to have a bubble bath (in the newly sanitised bath) and have an early night. Got a nail appointment tomorrow, so that will be my self-care for the week!

Note to self
when cooking dinner in the oven, it is also a good idea to turn the oven on at the wall switch.
there will be a delay tonight...................so OH is having a piece of toast as he is starving.
It has rained most of the afternoon, so got washing in a lunch time, much to my surprise it is dry, mainly owing to the hoolie blowing around hereBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello all,
Thank you for last week’s lovely lists, and again for this week’s. I’ll try my best to do bits as and when. Tomorrow is a non work day, so I can nearly start the week with some hope and appearances of doing something.
Benefitted from yesterday's planning this evening - sausage casserole that only needed reheating. Tomorrow’s plan includes prepping Wednesday’s meal, but this organisation will fizzle out by Thursday, for sure.
Towels washed and drying indoors (although apparently we didn’t have the heavy hailstorm here that we did at work), kitchen floor swept. Knitting is next on my agenda.
DM - all spare sticks being thrown at your BD.

Morning xx
Waving to Fayolle - non work day buddies today 🙂. Maybe you will inspire my inner Flylady and I'll fly like a veteran pilot. I live in hope 😉.
I'm up, my bed is made, I've opened the windows upstairs to let in some fresh air, and while the kettle was boiling for my first brew I rinsed 6 cans so they are ready to be recycled.
Second brew and a slice of toast next then... rolling up my sleeves and nodding at my buddy darn sarf 😊:
Round 1
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Decant bird seed into container
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Sort dry washing and put away
? Put away the airer
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Pause for coffee
Round 2
Write birthday list 2021 /2022
Write Christmas presents list
Write Christmas cards list
Update calendar
Write November birthday cards
Wrap present for great niece
Present for niece is expected to arrive today - I asked Alexa this morning 🤣
Wrap present for niece
Text DB/DSil and arrange to drop off presents for niece and great niece.
Make a note to withdraw cash to put in DGodson5's 18th birthday card
Then I can look at December birthdays and start to get organised for C-shush.
Golly- that's a list and a half. I'll screen shot it so I don't forget what I aim to do today.
Have a good day all.

Morning, I'm in again this week. Was on holiday last week including yesterday, we we're at the other house, friends came for a few days too so great time was had by all. I did fly there on Sunday as went through all the kitchen cupboards and OH did likewise in the garage.
Not working this week so hoping to get on with stuff, both around the house and admin wise. I have loads of washing to do (mainly bedding), plenty of admin tasks and want to carry on sorting and getting rid of stuff. I've written a to do list of all my little tasks.
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
Rental paperwork filed
DW emptied and breakfast stuff in it
Off to find pellet stove instructions to program it to come on before we come down in the morning, it's getting cold now and it's much cheaper to use the pellet stoves than the central heating (which over heats some parts before it eventually heats the kitchen). Smiling happily as it's a task that can be done with a cup of coffee!
Sticks being thrown for all those black dogs currently hanging around.
See you later when I've done something

Up, showered, hair washed, looking smugly at the frost outside, knowing that I didn’t have to get up and scrape the car for work. Bedding stripped and in the wm, just having the first cuppa and a bowl of porridge.
In deference to my oop north buddy:
Round 1
Remake bed, maybe time to hunt out that winter duvet as it was mighty chilly last night
Dry hair, straighten said hair to prevent scaring DH when he ventures from the new study
Clean ensuite
No family November birthdays here, although a work colleague’s birthday this week. Not sure what to do about that one atm, as she is BIG on birthdays. I prefer to hide under a stone.
Stop for a cuppa…
Round 2
errr - maybe 🤣
Lots of admin to do. I think it might be at the point where I can’t put it off any more.
Have a lovely day all. Sticks and spoons by the door, help yourself xx

Morning all
Back at the paid stuff today. Today’s list mostly done before work apart from hoovering, will do that when I have a break later. Also did a few admin bits while waiting for my computer to update, wm is running, another bright but cold day here so will get it out on the line when it finishes. Windows are open for some fresh air but will be closed soonish as it’s chilly!
Sw weigh in tonight, hoping for a good result, aiming to get out for a walk at lunchtime to get some steps in.
Have a good day all, hugs etc available as needed x7 -
Morning all.
Yesterday I managed to fill the patio pots with bulbs and autumn/winter bedding. This morning I opened the LR curtains to see the sun shining and one of the little red cyclamen bathed in a ray of light - so beautiful, and so good for the soul
I have already eaten breakfast, done DH's dressings, sent emails, checked bank accounts, started WMx1 of 2, and almost finished tidying the LR - I just need to hoover up Rosie's contribution to the Flying effort.
Still to do: more paperwork of various sorts, pay bills, go into town, Rosie's walk (hopefully in sunshine), plant up 3 bowls of hyacinths to bring pleasure and colour in January.
This evening: GBBO and WDYTYA
Big (((hugs))) to all in need, soothing music for those who feel frazzled, oodles of posivibes for dancemum, strokes for animal companions, and sticks for any BDs.
Hope everyone has a good day xx9
