Have pleaded poverty, job loss and old age. Going to have to look into this a whole lot more. Scared to death how much this could cost!Budgets and shiny new spreadsheet taking shape must clear credit card this month with new couch on it eek.Grateful forNice weekend with grandkids.Halloween is over - dislike it.Rain slowing down.Savings increased still this month.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/2210

Hi All,
I sort of fell off the challenge in October as real life reared it’s little head. I did manage to keep up the NSDs and ended up on 21 I may even of reached 22 but can’t remember if I spent on one particular day or not. Even so I’m pleased with where I ended up particularly when I realised that the total spend over a couple of days was less than £10. so not too much was actually spent in total.
I haven’t read the challenge yet but please can you count me in for November and I will try to keep up with the posting this month.
Will be back later after I have read the challenge. That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"8 -
Hi all
-aim for at least 15 NSD – ok!
-avoid any and every chain coffee shop and vending machine and corner shop. Support your local coffee shops and traders. Will do but tend not to go to them anyway. Prefer independent places. BUT i am buying DD2 a £10 costalot voucher as she likes to go there to do her uni work and has had a tough time so apart from that i'm in
-take your lunch to work every single working day. No problem.
-remove 60 items from your house (2 per day) – should be easy peasy !! I have way more than 60 unnecessary things in my house and garage!
-use up your toiletries and household cleaners before buying any more. Ok
-go on 2 outings. Yep, 2. Choose wisely. Already have one booked for end of Nov and paid for tickets but need to pay for accommodation. Nothing else planned
-tread lightly on our planet and get out there and enjoy fresh air every day: breathe it in slowly and deeply and energise your body. Trying to walk as much as possible or do a load of tasks in one journey. Hoping to only drive to work twice a week which is 60 miles per trip. Also drive to see DD2. Other than that will aim to walk. Will aim for 10k steps every day too
-donate £5 or items or time to a charity you support. Foodbanks are especially in need at this time of year. Make regular donations to charity but will donate to foodbanks when in the SM
-come on here every day and post three things you are grateful for. will do
-reach out to help other people. Don't try to CHANGE people, just LOVE them. LOVE is what changes people. Ok, struggle a bit with family so will try to love them unconditionally ......
-start 1 or 2 new habits this month, ones that are simple and will make you feel better Would like to try meditation ...

Afternoon Turtles.
NSD 1/15
Banking and budget done and charity donations made.
I had lost some weight but the holiday kind of put a stop to that. However, I had a hypertension review and I've been told I need to lose 20kg. A truly horrifying figure. So it's back to healthy eating, no snacking, no chocolate and no alcohol. So that's one good habit. The other is to have a brisk 20 minute walk at least five times a week. Doctor's orders again. The first day has gone well.
I've got one outing planned. Lunch with the lovely cousin. We hope to make this a regular "date" about every four weeks because we've really missed our chats during the pandemic.
Removing 2 items a day from this household shouldn't be a problem (if I can sneak them past Himself). Today I disposed of an old ironing board cover (why didn't I just throw it out when I got a new one?) and several empty boxes are now in the recycling bin.
Lots of toiletries and cleaning products to use up and ,as usual, the freezers and larder are full to bursting so the plan is to only buy what is necessary. Fruit and veg mainly. I've just got to keep Himself out of our new super, dooper Aldi to accomplish that.
Today I'm grateful for:
Getting four loads of washing done even if it is hanging all over the house drying.
Getting some awkward jobs out of the way.
Trout for dinner. I love fish.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.11 -

I was eating healthily today until Mum dropped in with a box of yum yums! After dropping DS at nursery, I nipped to the recycling centre with broken printer that’s been taking up cupboard space for 5 years. I put quite a few items in a bag bound for the CS tomorrow, including 2x joggers, baby towel, 2x swimming tops, a tube of bubbles, and a rubber duck. Also made a donation to FIL’s charity walk for diabetes charity. Two washings done and hung out, and load from the weekend put away.Grateful for a quiet day at work, dry windy weather, and Mum dropping in for a chat.November TalliesHoliday savings goal £0/£16060 items challenge- broken printer

hi turtles
Day off today, love Mondays when not at FT jobDid some of my PT jobs and got up to date. Took DD2's duvet to the launderette and dropped off a load of stuff at the CS (17 items!). Tried to buy an advent calendar for DD1 but forgot loyalty card which gave a discount so will go back another day. Failed to find any red peppers in 2 x SMs so can't make tomato and RP soup today, nevermind. Bought some crackers (for cheese) to put away for the festive time & large box of tea bags. Have done 10k steps.
Gratitudes - free flu jab; DD2 continuing to feel better; DD1 handing in her notice !

Grr just wrote a post and lost it!NSD 0/ 15. I had the dentist today, and OH did the weekly shop. The bill was only £25.47 as we didn't need much, we have lots in. There are a couple of things I will need to get elsewhere as Lidl didn't have them, but they can wait till later in the week.Nothing decluttered today, but I have listed a pile of cookery books on the Trash Nothing app. If they don't go on there, I will put them free to collect on one of the local FB sites.Grateful that I only need one filling, and even more grateful that it can wait till after Christmas!9
