hi everyone
i'd like to join please apple . I do have a decluttering pile in DD2's bedroom so if i can deliver that to a CS tomorrow i'll be off to a great start
I practically never buy lunch & always take it with me when i go into the office so that is an easy win for me. I would like to do more batch cooking though so i have good stuff to hand. A habit i need to get back to is eating more healthily and more green stuff - when stressed or lack of time i just eat sourdough toast for breakfast lunch and tea (which i love tbf). I also want to do my 10k steps everyday. Will ponder other challenges later on ....

Thank you, Deni. Lovely to see you all again
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
-set your budgets for everything by planning ahead. Have set my budget for each catorgies. Made a start on what food I want for celebration in December. I have an account where I put money away for presents – usually give money to members of my family.
-pay to your debt or savings first. Have DD each month for savings. Have no debt.
-aim for at least 15 NSD – will aim for this amount this month.
-avoid any and every chain coffee shop and vending machine and corner shop. Will do.
-take your lunch to work every single working day. Always take my lunch to work.
-remove 60 items from your house (2 per day) – This I will give a miss, as will not have 60 items to be removed. Have decluttered a lot over the years.
-use up your toiletries and household cleaners before buying any more. – This I will do as I have quite a bit to up.
-go on 2 outings. Have one outing already planned for this Thursday, was planned this month – lunch with some work colleagues whom I used to work with.
-tread lightly on our planet and get out there and enjoy fresh air every day: breathe it in slowly and deeply and energise your body. – Will do.
-donate £5 or items or time to a charity you support. Foodbanks are especially in need at this time of year. Look at http://www.trusselltrust.org/ - Will do.
-come on here every day and post three things you are grateful for. – Will make more of an effort in November.
-reach out to help other people. Don't try to CHANGE people, just LOVE them. LOVE is what changes people – Will do.
-start 1 or 2 new habits this month. Drink a glass of water with my dinner.

Hi guys
I need two birthday cards and to send money for a birthday present tomorrow, but I’m sure I’ve some cards somewhere, so I’ll see if there’s anything suitable before I spend.
I’ve got a charity bag with some bits in but there’s no way I can add two bits a day, we have a small flat and are quite minimalist.
I pay a chunk off my credit each week then more if I can afford before payday, so will really push that. We’re getting to the stage where the Xmas presents are nearly done so I’ll be able to ramp up payments until nearer Xmas.I’m aiming to cut out snacks this month, I really need to lose some weight but it’s the bad habits that are slowing it down. I’ve also got a weeks hol left to take after Xmas but no money to do it at the moment so the more we pay off the more chance of a holiday later. We’ve both hit 60 this year and with the scare of COVID plus this we both feel that we cant keep thinking we’ll do things later. Later might not come.
Treading lightly on the planet, I try to walk to work if possible so I’m hoping for dry and brisk weather for the next month. We also haven’t had the heating on yet.

Ok I am a day early.
Gratitude
1. I have meals ready in the fridge to make life easier this week. I batched, curry, chilli and pea soup yesterday and cooked some kale. There is also leftover cauli cheese, cheese sauce and mash from dinner tonight.2. We took our pup to a secure field today for a good run and she loved it 🥰 and we didn’t get rained on!
3. I am feeling prepared for my chat with the LA about home educating my 15 yo tomorrow. We started in September and it is going well.
I made a donation to Acts435.org.uk today. They raise money to help individuals who are in need of specific items. Do have a look if you have a few minutes.'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain'9 -

It was so easy getting up and out of the door today. But now I feel it is going to be a looong day.
Sent the fluffy doggy on mini vacation at the ex's. He kindly accepted, I just am struggling w demands this week. And now I will have to cancel my dentist appointment, as they want me to take unpaid leave.
So am really upset. Have asked HR, so am waiting for a clarification.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Happy November Turtle-Friends - Just in case it comes as a surprise to anyone, 54 days til THATDAY.It is the same day every year, and so we cannot be surprised when it happens.Today was my major money shuffle day, all the bills go out, the mortgage updates its numbers, and I am on top of everything. I think being made to stay home for over half of last month, and only doing one big online shop (£41) to get in the milk and pasta essentials did me the world of good. Even with the kids having to go to the petrol station for loaves of bread (how much???).Today will be a NSD as I have a release date of tomorrow, when all bets are off.Budgets set and I am going to inventorize the pantry, fridge and freezer so I know what I am at.Cleaned and hoovered the top two floors, and the front of the house in a mad hour of bed making and tidying, and got very shaky and spaghetti-armed so I have sat down for a bit on the sofa with a nice cup of tea (annoyingly there is a slight hint of phantom-vomit smell reappeared - I know it is all in my head - literally).Roll on November, get out the twinkly lights, charge up your rechargeable batteries, and set up your candles. Find those books you meant to read, and put them next to the sofa and the fluffy blanket/throw. Check your hot water bottle hasn't sprung a leak.Time to cosy up the house, embrace the darkness - do you know where your torch and matches are?4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
