I lost the thread for a while, but found it again and have caught up. Suu I am sorry about your friend and I think hettyhound - your neighbour, really sorry. good to read about the new baby tho xxx 

I am back in debt in order to buy a car (£8000) and am aiming to pay it off by the 31st of December, but however I do my monthly sums I am still short so am going to use the sealed pot to help make up the difference. I will start a second job too which will mean I have to have takeaway for dinner (have to!!) so I should get change from that. 

Hopefully I will be able to pot more than the 1.20 I have managed so far!

Good for you in potting some coins in, Nu1isit. I hadn't a clue what the pumping dogs referred to until little_sweetie came along! Our dog barely does it at all even being a Labrador! I'm confessing to nothing about the rest of the household!!

                                      The GRAND TOTAL for 2021 is £21,878.09!!!!!!!

Not exactly as normal, but I'm still very pleased with it as it shows just how well we've all done, especially as so many members have left us. 😢

Happy New Year everyone! I hope it's a good one for you all and that Covid becomes far less of a blight on our lives this year!  

I have just popped £47.30 into the pot. Somehow I forgot that I lent my brother £40 back in October. I thought as I wasn't missing it, I may as well stick it in the pot. Most of the £7.30 was found in a handbag I haven't used for a while, but got out of the wardrobe for my 30th birthday trip to London on the 1st. The remainder was from a visit to the sweet shop today 

My pot is beginning to feel quite healthy now. It's exciting wondering how much is in there!

Back to school today with the cherubs. Slight changes to where the classes are eating - ie in the classroom instead of the hall.  Far preferable for those children and adults who can't stand the noise!

Sue  we've never seen our Granddaughter at all in the flesh. Paul hasn't visited the UK for about 10 years. He came over a few years before that with his baby son from his first marriage, who was just 3 months  old at the time. They then split up and his wife returned to the UK with their son (18 months old) and cut us off from the baby. We have no idea where he is and he's  16 now 😪 Life is very complicated.....
Just potted 30p change today plus a penny offered by G 😁 Who am I to refuse an offered penny piece? 😂

I am the original hummingbird, I have been away for some time as we had to change our passwords and I had difficulty getting back in for various reasons...then with all that happened in 2020 onwards I drifted away! I have missed MSE and the challenges so much! Looking forward to receiving a number xx
