So, as I've got covid and can't leave the house until Thursday morning I've decided to create another money tin. Which only has notes and £2 coins in.

Evening all
Actually received a £2 coin today so that has gone in the pot, as has the loose change from my purse (after I'd finished dropping it repeatedly on the floor).
Sad week this week - I'm a member of a weight loss group on Facebook and the founder of the group died suddenly yesterday morning. He was 36, and an only child. Can't believe it, not least as he hosted a live chat on Wednesday and looked really well, and last Autumn he walked from Sunderland to Land's End in memory of a group member who died of cancer earlier in the year!
Then today I have found out that a longstanding colleague's 13-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer last October. Life is so cruel at times
In good news, my brother has finally sold his house which has been on the market for over a year!
It's been a slow week but my team leader said today that the short week back at work has been a 'warm-up' and we'll be more productive next week
Have a good weekend all x

Hi Potters
Sorry I've been absent for a couple of weeks, it's been rather busy. We had a lovely Christmas with our DD and SIL. We travelled home for 1 night on 27th, then rushed back to their house on 28th because DD's labour started. Our DGS, Barnaby, was born on 29 December a very healthy 7lb 1 oz. Mummy and baby doing well. I only returned home yesterday after helping them settle in and am just starting to get my life back in order! I have lots of posts to catch up on in the thread and am sure to have missed lots of information, so please accept my best wishes for any event that has happened in my absence.
Another £11.14 to add to the pot today. Enjoy the rest of the week Potters.SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.834 -
