Not officially confirmed by either Russia or Poland but if you look at the intraday gas price chart posted above, you can see when the reports started to come out.If supplies have indeed been deliberately suspended by Gazprom, it would not be an immediate problem for Poland because underground storage is about 70% full and stocks can be drawn down. Also, natural gas demand is fairly low now because of the upcoming summer season.
Poland plans to stop importing Russian gas by the end of the year when its long-term supply contract with Gazprom expires and a new pipeline delivering gas from Norway comes online.
The Baltic Pipe project has the capacity to replace Russian deliveries via the Yamal pipeline.

So this time last year has was approx 48p and now approx 150p
Does the current price cap cover these sorts of costs or does it mean another hefty hike? This thread here (link) is the one that follows the price and predicted the April cap and currently predicts another 27% rise.0 -

Does the current price cap cover these sorts of costs or does it mean another hefty hike? This thread here (link) is the one that follows the price and predicted the April cap and currently predicts another 27% rise.I'm going to update that forecast at the weekend, once the month ends (I need a routine otherwise I'd go mad trying to keep a live forecast and you'd all get fed up reading the thread.)The current (April) gas cap was based on a wholesale gas price of 4.9p/kWh, which is roughly 145p/therm on ICE. We need to get wholesale gas below 120p/therm for the next three months if we're going to avoid any sort of price rise in October, but if it stays below 180p/therm we might get away with only another 1p/kWh on the gas cap.N. The AFP News Agency has confirmed that both Poland and Bulgaria will have their gas cut off by Gazprom tomorrow.Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said the country was reviewing all of its contracts with Gazprom, including for transit of Russian gas to Serbia and Hungary, emphasising that "one-sided blackmail was not acceptable".
And the country's Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov accused Russia of using gas as a "political and economic weapon in the current war".
Sofia, which relies on Gazprom for more than 90% of its gas supply, said overnight it had taken steps to find alternative sources but no restrictions on gas consumption were currently required.

Most countries look as if they are still keen to take Russian gas, they don't really have an option.0 -
