I did think of staying with Variable Rate but that looks too uncertain atm.

From quote page, I think high risk all of the remaining suppliers will hike E standing charge on new fixed rates in not too distant future

Do keep in mind that Octopus can change that whenever they want; it isn't a fixed rate.

If electricity prices do drop, Agile will again start working like it's designed to.

It includes an interesting table - Table 6, page 23 - showing how many customers were cut off, and for how long.

Got to make a decision in the next 2 days-

Accept new 2 year fixed tariff on EDF, or leave and go to Octopus fixed for 1 year.

If I go Octopus - after one year then what?

I like paying quarterly by card too.

I  am v hestitant to go to Octopus for some reason.

I think so many things are up in the air atm.

Any suggestions?
