It is unfortunate but recently, especially related to energy bills their levels of accuracy seem to have drifted so far from the target they are not just missing the dart board, but sometimes missing the wall.

I’ve got my doubts they’ve even found the right pub, to be honest! 😂

  • And in the meantime the government is reportedly asking energy firms to prepare two sets of bills - one with the continuation of the EPG at the same level for another 3 months, and one without.

They did that, but then people started having tantrums and the government realised that they are less popular than cancer, with some local elections in May, so they are trying to decide if they should bribe the electorate with the taxpayers money or not.

It says a lot that I plan my future budgets and summary of affairs based on what you all say on the energy forums as opposed to govt updates   I budget plan based on your guesstimates, which I know are based on your knowledge and understanding of the predictions. And do you know I have to thank you all as you have kept me in fine stead so far.!
