This doesnt make sense at all. 

A: This is unafordable for 90% of the population so wont happen. 
B: Makes no sense in terms of the energy price globally. Russia only genenrates 16% of the worlds gas. So even if it turned it's taps off tomorrow, it should cause a 400% increase in price. 
If tesco closed tomorrow ASDA wouldn't suddenly start charging £80 for a kinder egg. 

Total farce. 

If the amount of food available in the UK fell by 20%, how much would you be willing to pay to avoid starving - pretty much everything you have I suspect - along with everyone else, so prices would have to rise enough for 20% of people to be priced out....

Warning …. possible good news (for UK gas prices) seen in the market prices this morning ….

Another aggressive upward movement on Friday as the UK headed into a long weekend due to the Bank Holiday. The European were markets trading yesterday and showed a discount to which the UK markets will look to jump on today.

The markets from what I can tell as a layman have not reacted to this (yet). Maybe they knew this was the outcome that was always going to play out and it has been priced in.

Yesterday the markets went back to the price level a week ago, which change Auxilione predictions drastically.
