There still are some discounts around (albeit from a higher starting point) and, as has ever been the case, it is down to flexibility to have the car they want to sell and being in a position to write the cheque there and then.
I know I was able to secure a discount when buying my car in June - I actually surprised myself. The prices in September were less attractive (or the buyer) than June so it all comes down to the figures for the financial quarter.0 -

Around 10% was "promoted" incentive, the remainder was "do the deal".1 -
When I bought a new Skoda Enyaq EV just over 2 years ago, it had to be a factory build and there was no ability to negotiate on price - I tried a number of dealerships, Carwow etc and nothing available.
I just bought a different new Skoda Enyaq last month - picked it from available stock ready for import, and got 8% off list price. Could possibly have increased this to 10-12% using Carwow if I had been willing to wait 6-8 months for a factory build but I'm really impatient. Also negotiated an additional equivalent 6% reduction with a much better trade in price than anyone else could offer. So total of around 14% off list price.
The dealership wanted to boost their September sales figures, so I also got a few little extras thrown in (free dash cam install, paint protection) for getting everything through quickly.

There are nine pages of brand new Corsa-e's on Autotrader - the lowest priced ones are 40% off.4

Just 8 pages of e208s - so only a tiny 32% discount.

10% off a purple porker... that has to be better than a Yaris, surely?2

I wouldn't personally go for one of the Stelantis EVs: they're that cheap for a reason. There are some well priced Zoes and MG5s available which offer the best 'range to price' value. Now is a good time to buy a used EV if you know what you're looking for.0

I've also been looking on various sites and yes some dealers are offering bib big discounts.
Seams to be Polestar 2s also can get big reduction on RRP..
I'll keep looking around and see what cars may suit me.
Cheers for posting, Roger.
