First shift done.  Wet again, but managed a dog walk. Dailies are done, washing off airer and put away, admin up to date and quickly hoovered through.

Bed made, clothes picked up

Squeak now has referral to SALT and Headstart to help her find ways to deal with her anxiety and selective mutism before she is too old and wise (13 ) to accept help

OH bottled his cider.. I do not like drinking at home..

Meem has also got OH's cold..

I have a couple of emails to send and waiting on a call back from learning support at the potential school for Squeak so I may knit while I wait.. and send and type.

The stove is lit here - it is damp, chilly and grey. Humidity of 90% according to the forecast website.

I haven’t managed to chop any wood today; I need a dry day so I can do it outdoors, and tomorrow looks sunny but cold so I aim to do at least an hour then. 

Before school this morning I recycled our soft plastics at the co op and put a load of clothing in the clothing bank. I think it will be early nights all round tonight xx

Hi all

Thanks for your kind words about the police visit, I slept like the dead last night.  I still dont know what it was all about other than the fact that when DS was in a pub on Saturday night there was a fight, which was all over quickly and no-one seemed badly hurt.  There may be more to it, but I really hope there was a good reason for scaring me like that.

Paid stuff 8.30am to 3.30pm then 6pm till 8.30pm.  Tired now.  DS has been at home again, he managed to hoover and throw the washing at the airer (well thats how it looked).

Back in the office in the morning, staff appraisals then finalising some contract paperwork.  Such fun.

Is it nearly Friday yet?

I'm sorry I've been quiet lately. Been putting on a mask for everyone around me but didn't think it was fair on you guys so I withdrew until I felt I could be more sociable.

Natty.. We understand and we are always here whenever you need us. We love you even when you're not here or you're having a bad week or month or however long..

We have had all the weather today.. from hail and torrential rain to sunshine and rainbows.. weird stuff going on.

Moomin did 2 loads of washing.. and put it in the broken washer to not dry so I hung it on the airer and it has disappeared.. I have no idea.. it wasn't her undies, it was joggers and hoodies..

I did dinner, pack ups and complained an awful lot very quietly.. I am fed up already of feeling rubbish and it's only been one day.

OH now home and made a cuppa but I just want my bed.

man is collecting final piece of workshop machinery this morning so I will book a skip for next week and call the estate agents.
