DS woke up with a big coughing fit at 5.30, so here we are. He is scoffing an apple with his milk and I am enjoying a cuppa. I have written a Veerrryyyy long list for today, fed the chickens and set the DW going. Flylady kindness so gratefully received 💜💜

I am going to jump in the shower once I have finished this cuppa and get my big girl pants on ready to face the day. Big love and hugs to all xxx

Morning all.  Hope you're all ok today.
just having a donut for breakfast having already been out and done a big shop with DH.  Got some bits for Christmas too.
It is raining again so not sure when I'll fit in dog walks but I also need to mop floors today and do home and council admin.  Mustn't procrastinate too much as I'm also going out tonight.

Morning all
Busy day yesterday, but beyond leaving DH in charge of the sc again, nothing flying-wise achieved.

Work wanted me in again today, but I have declined (I seem to keep having to go in to cover other people’s multiple holidays. Jealous, moi??) as DD is promising to put in an appearance today, the first since she went away. True to form, she is independently making her way from uni to big town, which means that she will probably be here for just a couple of hours before she has to turn round and go back. Ah well, I am stupidly excited about those couple of hours.
Up, showered, hair washed, wm on (full load, I am still resisting running it as often as I used to), yesterday’s dry washing into the airing cupboard. Will have a second cuppa while I try to tame my hair and think about what I can usefully get done today in between clock watching!

On a good note I do not have a headache this morning.. on the downside I have contracted OHs cold and have a raging sore throat, increasing levels of snot and my ears itch.

I have done pack ups, binned the broken printer and done the pack ups afte I had school refusals because hot dinners today is boiled potatoes.. with optional ketchup.. I wouldn't eat that and could not expect the children to.. it only takes me 15 minutes to do pack ups and I had time.

Dailies done, admin done, beetroot from garden prepped and dogs walked.  I am now damp so cheering myself up with another cuppa and donut.

OH has a letter from NHS, telling him he needs 3rd covid jab, not the booster one, he is currently looking at where the walk in locations locally are, and sorting out what he wants to do.

got a letter from the hospital saying I am in the waiting list for the waiting list but I have absolutely no idea what it is for.. fun times!

DS2 and Squeak been to the shop and squeak just making her own lunch.. just a sandwich, nothing too exciting.

OH doing his first PT assessment..

Meems christmas present bought.. and one I ordered for Dot has arrived (new coat so something she actually needs!) terrible present but useful.

My sore throat is progressing nicely..

I have had another donut, some Pringles and have cleaned the kitchen window, put away summer coats and vacuumed under all furniture.

Been with the aged P's and sis, sorting out POA.  Had a steak dinner though.
No flying will be on the cards.
